@theodorehaskins37562 жыл бұрын
So I don’t think it was manually flown, if you recall Elon released a drone just prior to him going into that dance routine he did at the opening ceremony at giga factory Berlin when they delivered the Tesla Model Y to the first owner, and so I think the drone was being flown autonomously over a predetermined route, and I would be very surprised if someone was flying it manually, now I’ve seen some guys in some of these videos that race these drones, and they’re very good at it, but that’s a little different type of flying, than when it comes to obstacle avoidance situations like we saw in that video, so it would take some extraordinary/exceptional drone flying skills to do that kinda flying, but I don’t have any evidence to the contrary so who knows! So I’ve tried flying some of these drones and I can tell you that they can easily get away from you, and the slightest mistake, in some situations, you could lose a very expensive drone, and it can happened so quick that you may not even understand what actually went wrong. So who knows, but I sure would like to know the answer to that question, as to whether or not it was manually flown or whether it was flown by a an AI computer! Cheers!
@darshitdesai2 жыл бұрын
@@theodorehaskins3756 no bro it is manually flown. Inside plant buildings gps is not available. And flying autonomously in gps denied environments is difficult for a computer too. Only now drones are able to fly inside warehouses that too with supervision. This is 1000x complex environment than a warehouse. I think a guy with vr goggles flew it from outside under like strict supervision and all operator's holding their breath on that big red emergency button of press machine.
@splay47702 жыл бұрын
That's definitely manual flying as a robot would not be doing all the cool camera shots if it was on a pre determined route as it would just fly along the route set and not really do much, I think also this is probably done on something like a DJI fpv as some shots look too stable for a homemade drone

Let me say that Volvo Cars Ghent relies on supply from stamped parts from outside. I do think most car manufacturers work like Volvo: I work at the welding factory, and most of the metal pieces we put in the machine come from Sweden, or eastern european countries, some even from China. And some have shipping labels which imply that it is not made by a Volvo owned factory, but either a subsidiary or it is completely outsourced to another company. No wonder that Tesla has those huge margins. Stamping it themselves, evading the cost of profit margin of outsourcing and the cost of shipping.
