For those that are confused, yes these are all real. They aren't doing this on their own though. They have a set of commands programmed into them to move this way. Though they have upgraded them a bit to visualize their environment and make basic determined decisions to go through a small obstacle coarse and lift objects to test their effectiveness. Slowly but surely robots are advancing.

I think technology has advanced in a way that mankind has not expected. Sure we don't have flying cars like in the Jetsons, but we do have miniature computers (aka smartphones) that are small enough to fit in our pockets and carry with us wherever we go. If you own a smartphone and/or a PC, you have access to an endless expanse of information through the internet. AI today may not be as advanced as say HAL 9000, but AI is smart enough to interpret human speech and can even remotely operate household appliances. Medicine has also made great strides for the last half century. In my opinion I'd take better medicine and medical tech over flying cars any day, but maybe that's just me.

This wasn't just dancing, this was a showcase of just how insanely advanced they are. Because dancing takes lots of balance, timing, fine motor control, and physical strength. These robots have all of that.

this video fucks with my mind it draws the line between what i believe is real and what i believe is CGI
@thespanishinquisition40785 ай бұрын
This video is absolutely real but I can see why it messes with people's minds. What makes you think it might be CGI is the fact that robots in essence think like animation. That is to say, their movements are programmed the same way a 3d model is. So this creates that uncanny feeling in your subconscious because you know that's not how people or animals move. Its subtle but its there. As to why there's no way this is CGI. Well, that's simple. Looking at the reflection, lighting and changes in the carpet, this is waaaaaay above what CGI does nowadays. If BD had invented CGI algorithms good enough to do this, they wouldn't be simulating robots, they'd be selling THAT, and making bank like crazy. And yes, BD does sell software so its not like it'd be a new product for them.
