I finally flew the Ikarus yetserday from Ince Blundell, and all I can say is, WOW - conversion well and truly in progress! A whole world apart from flying a Cessna out of an airport, don't know why I didn't do this years ago!

Great stuff as ever Ben - loved the bump. Must tell you one day about the time I hit turbulence over the Pyrenees......downdrafts were so strong I lost all control authority for periods of time, very scary....then there was the time flying a Cessna near Atlanta on a 5 hour leg where the turb was so strong I couldn't get my hand on the radio.......luck bucket emptier, experience bucket filling....

Ah good to have you along for it. It’s about 20 mins once you’ve climbed out and left the circuit at Kemble and arrived with a cross wind join at Wadswick. Maybe a little over (SkyDemon says 14 mins as the crow flies though)
