If it didn’t cost so much it’d be fun to have, but that’s a hefty investment sitting around. 100% worth the trip to see it, hope you guys enjoyed it. @@steffentysnes5302 I know, but starting with a stock replacement panel and adding a section is not that bad. Also he mentions if it got hit past the panel in the rear deck lid you are done. It would expensive, but you can get all of that for a 69 Charger from AMD. I agree its totally not a drift car however.

I'm not sure why he even bought it now, except the 'trophy' factor. It doesn't fit their drag strip motif, nor the burnout pit (wall tap would 'suck, a lot' as James said) or daily driver molds. Cool factor and sound are off the charts, though.

I had the absolute pleasure of getting to see this car in person last year. It is the most ridiculously awesome thing I have ever seen. The video here does not do it justice. To hear the guy who built it tell of how they came across this car and the amount of time and effort that went into this build was awesome. This is definitely a 1 of 1 and will make someone a very unique piece to add to their collection. This is definitely a Cleetus style car and it would fit right up their alley, but I understand their reasoning for not making the deal.

Never saw a car where you could actually view the rear differential while the car is moving down the road. Very unusual car indeed and Daytona look-a-like as well. A very well done car with extremely well done mods. Reminds of the days of the 1950s Mercury lead sleds which were chopped and radically done and made to look factory.

AMD makes most panels for mopars, and the rear end in that car is meant for dirt racing it would break very easily on the street with some clutch dumps

Izz Din it all depends on how fast she goes. It also depends on the sanctioning body. Typically it’s parachute, fire suppression, head/neck restraint, a really good cage, and it all has to pass really strict tech.
