This flight was one of the most surreal flights I've ever taken, and up to this point...have ever taken. Never did I think I'd make it all the way up to Barrow, Alaska...but in this video I do just that in Alaska Airlines' Premium Class on their B737-800. On a flight that was extremely empty like this one was, the upgrade to Premium wasn't really worth it (which is why I didn't pay for it) in my honest opinion. Would've been just as happy back in Economy. However, if it were different circumstances, perhaps it would be worth the upgrade. I do like how Alaska tries to make Premium Class something more than just additional legroom...trying to entice people with free alcohol, but let's just say that's not really my calling. I took it graciously though and enjoyed my wine up to the northernmost city in the United States. Barrow or Utqiagvik, is a truly special place and if you'd like to see how that place is, be sure to check out my video I did on the town a year back. Highly recommend a visit and hope you guys enjoy the vid!
