Justin here is a professional pilot who offered for me to fly along with him on some part-91 flights in a King Air 200. This is a single flight we did from FYV to AXX. Enjoy!

Justin, as a retired ATC guy I can tell you that, even though they don’t tell you, those controllers really appreciate your professionalism and preparedness. It makes everyone’s job much easier. And this was another great video.

yeah this make BS sense, they are doing a job they expect him to be professional, they dont give a shit how professional he is!

1littlelee everybody isn’t professional. Thus it’s an expectation you don’t always get. So, when you do get it, it’s appreciated.

@@1littlelee You obviously don't know much about what goes on behind the scenes in aviation. Suggest you visit an approach control or an ARTCC and ask the controllers how they feel.

Flying an IFR plan at altitude is just a series of handoffs from ground to departure to Centers along the way to approach control to tower to ground. As long as you don’t have any problems, it’s no problem. Just stay ahead of the airplane. As a former USAF multi-engine pilot, I d like to recognize your excellent coordination and “living by the checklist”. Good job and many years of success ahead to both of you.

Great video! I like the longer format. If you have the opportunity with the 4k camera, do zoom in on changes to relevant controls. It will add a great understanding of how the manipulation of the controls impact the overall flight (altering heading bug and managing flight director). Another great video!

It's so different from what I currently do, which is scenic flights in a Waco YMF. Because of this, I thoroughly enjoy watching these types of videos. Keep up the good work!

Watched this with my wife, she said, “well of course they got a perfect KAXX landing day”. We full time out of Angel Fire, and a 13 knot crosswind is wonderful because it is so rare. I practiced dozens of crosswind landings in my Saratoga before I moved it full time to Angel Fire. I would say the average crosswind is typically 16G20. I am comfortable enough with crosswind landings there that 20G25 isn’t too extraordinary. Just got to plan for it and be ready to go around. Glad you guys had a nice, smooth day coming in.

Brought back lots of memories. I was a Naval Aircrewman on the UC-12B (Beach super 200C) as a crew chief, and have close to 1500 hours in it. Got lots of stick time on dead heads and ran right seat several times. We ran from Wichita to Brunsiwck Maine and worked KC quite a bit. Funny thing kept needing to ask for Victor Freq, they kept giving me 200mhz freqs. Thanks for giving this old guy a smile.

Great job of working together. Thanks for leaving the videos long...For those of us who don't get to fly any more, any moment looking at the panel and out the window is a good one...A few comments about cross wind landings. There are two parts to them. I hear you talk a lot about the first part, getting the plane on the ground safely...(wing down, crab then straighten...etc.)...The second part nearly got me a Hobbs one day. Strong cross wind from the right. As the airplane slowed, the effectiveness of the tail surface diminished slowly until about 40 miles per hour it was almost gone...the plane wind-socked slowly into the wind....first I ran out of rudder, then I ran out of brake (locking up the downwind brake just as we passed between two runway lights on the right.) That second part was a doozy...We knew we were at the limit for the aircraft, and the runway was very wide. Guess if I had known how bad it was going to get, I would have landed a little across the runway so that I had more room on the upwind side when everything said turn right... Great job on the videos...thanks for taking us along.

It’s always great to see fledgling aviator get opportunities to fly new aircraft. That’s pretty much how I got into flying corporate. When I was a line tech I was in the right place and the right time and got my high altitude Endorsement in a CJ2. I flew King Airs Part 135 for awhile then just recently a Citation Mustang and CJ1. Last week I had to pick up the Mustang for maintenance and took one of my previous students with me so he could get some right seat experience.

@@WindowLickingDeer I almost exclusively use MSFS 2020 now. It is by far the best simulator around now. Xplane just fell behind in quality, and their aircraft are too expensive. They had a good run for quite a while though, and I am glad they had set the bar for so long.

Love the KA-200! I work for a Beechcraft dealership for 14+yrs and been through many, many 200's the biggest event I went through at Beech was way back there was an AD to change the fwd outbd wing spar and it only gave a few flight hrs to remove them, we had so many 200's stacked on our ramp, that was a tough job, I'll bet we did 35 to 40 KA's I've turned wrenches for 35+ yrs and I'd say 30 of those on Beechcraft! Great, great aircraft.
