I did the media ride, for that you need to be a member of the media in some capacity. There are 2 rides. A media ride and a “celebrity/public figure” ride. They typically choose someone who is doing something good for the community, like someone who runs a nonprofit, and then a media member to give publicity for that ride and the blue angels in general.

I have noticed that the women going on these Blue Angel flights are young, the Navy may have an age limit due to physical endurance and recovery times from high G force manuevers, in which only the pilots are "used to" these manuevers, as most civilians have to breathe a certain way and keep their blood flowing, a previous video showed a girl who passed out for only a second then woke up; in fact this girl passed out for a split second, but the ride would be worth it!!! These pilots are AMAZING, best I have ever seen!!!
