I was there in 2019 for christmas and absolutely fell in love with this place. On those canals, they had school kids riding boats at night with lanterns, and santa was in one! Was very interesting.

I sure enjoyed seeing your trip to a part of France I never visited. I was once very surprised when on a Go Ahead company Jewels of the Alpine tour to visit countries in their Alps region we visited Annency along Lake Annency and really enjoyed seeing that city.

Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, Eguisheim and Kaysersberg (the "route des vins" (literally "wine road") -> all of those villages are picture perfect like Colmar and Strasbourg, but they are smaller in size, and there are many vineyards all around 😊 You can also go up to the Château de Haut-Koenigsburg if you want to have a look from a higher spot! Enjoy 😋

I lost the count on how many times we went in Alsace lol during Christmas time, in summer, september, with and without the kids… those places are always magical to me, they have a special spot in my heart!❤️ can’t wait to go back again!!!! Beautiful! We stayed in Strasbourg. The cathedral does a light show at night which was amazing! We had the Tarte Flambee as well for lunch! Now, I want to go to Colmar!

I love their “pizza” - in Paris there is a place called Flams in Monteparnasse who do these. Our favourite is the one that has potato, onion, bacon and cheese. We make it at home now - the cream is crème fraise with a touch of nutmeg, then slices of par cooked potato, bacon, caramelised onions, and Gruyère.

I felt so proud you guys visited that part of my country where I lived the first 20 years of my life…so many memories came to my mind…I love your videos…Hunter does not know how lucky she is and cannot yet appreciate visiting countries and traditions… for her right now it is very simple, everything is all about going from Cho Cho trains to parks, playgrounds, foods, and having as much fun as possible.
