It's cute why Flynn calls himself "Baby Flynn" My littlest brother has a million different names; Mason, Masy, Masy Baby, Little love. You never know. He has a ton of food allergies so we have to get him special food alternatives, and my favorite thing is when one of my other siblings tries to eat it and he shouts "No! That's Masy's Pizza!" "That's Masy's food!" It's just the cutest when kids pick up on the nicknames you call them and use them in refference to themselves 😊

I’m the oldest but I’m also 8 years older than my sister so it will be different, but like Colleen has, my mom made it really exciting for me. She always made sure I was included and loved, so I was really excited to be a big sister. Also, on the subject of breastmilk: I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and I've had lactation from one nipple since 15/16 weeks. I used to have pierced nipples, the one nipple that leaks is the one that actually got halfway ripped out 😅 so I wasn't sure if the "shower head" thing was bc it was torn or what, but it makes sense.

“Terrible twos” may start once the babies are born. In my family it usually began once a new baby was born as a way of reacting to their new emotions. I don’t know though just what I’ve seen from experience.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t go through it because Colleen and Eric seem so emotionally intelligent and attentive. Oftentimes, the “terrible twos” are actually just little ones trying to learn to regulate and express their emotions, because developmentally, they don’t have those skills mastered yet. I’ve seen many two year olds who don’t go through it (I’m a nanny), either because of their temperament, or because their parents are attentive and help them work through their emotions, rather than shutting them down

It’s honestly so validating to hear that other people are still anxious about going out. I have been isolating since this started and I only go out if I desperately need to, and for a morning run but I go at 6:30 so that no one is out. Same I went out yesterday for the first time to ppp(Peter Piper Pizza)for a birthday party and it was really packed I had anxiety about being around ppl (even though I'm fully vaccinated) but I tried to do things that made me more comfortable even if I might get judged for it, I picked the birthday table with less ppl , sat at the far end & if I wasn't eating/drinking I had my mask on & when I went to the play area so that made me way more comfortable I have also developed like anxiety about my face now (maskfishing lol)

I know every family is different but my husbands family was the same when he was growing up. Super strict religious, hubby went to a private baptist school, weren’t allowed to watch Harry Potter, etc. We talk to them about this stuff often, because they were very young and growing and learning along with raising a baby, and they were only doing what they thought was best. Now that my husband is grown, they allow their youngest to celebrate and have a lot of freedoms he didn’t, because they have learned it’s not about the holiday or about the “witchcraft” as long as you teach your kids the values you want them to have, outside things like silly holidays and fictional movies aren’t necessarily going to influence that

For baby names, my parents said their method was having a list of names they liked on the fridge, and throughout the pregnancy either of them could add and/or remove any names they wanted. So whatever was left by the time we were born is what they picked from. It helped narrow it down for sure!

They all end in a e sound and sound like very sweet names just like Flynn's personality, you have done something right as Flynn is so sweet and the twins will most likely be the same. For a Boy Archie, Harley, and Charlie for rhyme, something like Oliver (Ollie) and Archer (Archie), Zach (Zachery, Zachie) work too. We put up a Christmas tree on November 1, but sometimes we get it up before Halloween. HOWEVER, we decorate it for fall until after thanksgiving. This is because the worst part of decorating the tree is assembling it and making sure all of the lights are working and evenly distributed. I’d rather put that frustration into a Fall tree rather than get frustrated decorating for Christmas. It’s a total mood killer and Christmas is my favorite holiday.

November 1st Christmas decorations will be going up in my house!! I like having my Christmas tree up for thanksgiving!

My littlest brother was born Nov 19th, so we already had christmas decorations up by the time he was born. He was ENTRALLED by the chasing/dancing christmas lights my mom hung around the living room ceiling perimeter. Kind of the feeling you get when you lay under a christmas tree. And its just soft enough for late nights. 😊 If you wanted a baby room idea.

Don't worry Colleen, here in the Philippines we started celebrating Christmas as soon as the ber months started. As for putting up decorations, it really depends on the family but some already has Christmas decorations all around their houses :))

Colleen I’m the same about Christmas! One year I NEVER took down my decorations. I got lots of shade for it but I didn’t care. I had just had my son and was going thru baby blues and it cheered me up! I say decorate whenever you for as long as you want!!!!!!

My family gets mad at me because I want the Christmas tree up now.. :) Sooooo I feel you! On a vacation to New hampshire, we went to the Christmas store. The whole store had themed trees in different rooms, decorations you can buy, trees you can buy... It was amazing. I love Christmas. You wouldv'e been mind blown at this store. And so would Flynn. So many things to look at!! It was so so cool. My mom and I were there for 3 hours. I couldn't stop looking at all the decorations. She wanted to go, but i had the car keys, so she had to stay xD
