Beautiful! I'm new to ALL of this, both Cricut and epoxy tumblers. What I've found helpful is to watch these tutorials with design space open, and just follow along, and play around with the tools. It helps alot with learning design space. Thanks for sharing your amazing skills!!

I am sure you get the BEST reviews from your viewers, and I am definitely one of them. This is a beautiful design, and it is blissfully complicated. Straightforward designs are great. They are. But I love that your work takes us down avenues of new and more dedicated territory. I love challenging my comfort zone, and you bring it to the table. Thanks for that. Hope you guys are doing well up there and the fires are not complicating life too terribly.

So after you applied epoxy you sanded, applied decal, then spray painted over that? (did you sand your entire cup?) I tried this because my cup sat for over 24 hours after i applied my expoxy and my spray paint looked scratchy from the sanding... I used 220 grit... did I do something wrong, or will the epoxy over the spray paint be okay?

Hi!!! First of all I just want to say I LOVE your videos. Other than being super informative, they are beyond calming and I always find myself rewatching your videos. I was wondering if you had any tips for doing a wood grain peekaboo? Twice I have done a silver multicolored glitter base and an alcohol ink brown wood grain over matte white spray paint. When I go in with my acetone it seems like the brown ink stains the epoxy and there’s the reversing it. Please help lol?
@FlynnSistersBoutique4 жыл бұрын
is the layer you're putting your paint and alcohol inks fully cured? Did you sand it first? AI will have a tendency to stain epoxy, that's just unavoidable and so I don't really want to do a video on that look because it can be a hassle for this exact reason. i'm sorry :-(

Love this cup!! When you said you did three layers did you apply the third layer of epoxy after you sanded? So you had no sand marks before you applied vinyl decals then paint.
@FlynnSistersBoutique3 жыл бұрын
no, the sand marks don't matter. The "third coat" you're referring to was if you're having to sand a lot after the second layer to get it smooth. like if your glitter is still really bumpy, just do a third coat then sand, then decals and paint. the sand marks won't show on something like this after epoxy in the final coats.
@chelseaames78253 жыл бұрын
