Flyover Iceland Aerial Experience VLOG

I actually found this place by accident when I was having the rental car washed after 10 days of doing the Ring Road in April. Behind me, as it were, was this big building and the billboards advertising the show looked interesting, so I tried online booking and there was a place available for the show starting within 20 mins of the end of the car wash, so I went. And it was great!! The whole experience - from queuing on our yellow dots, to meeting our "host", to settling in our seats and then, the video images!! We were flying!! I grabbed the armrests multiple times as we swooped and swerved over the most astounding scenery!! I loved it!! Even having done it once, I certainly will return on my next visit.

Is this open all year ? Been looking to book for our trip April 2024. But it only allows dates up until December 2023 and the rest is crossed out. Is this a seasonal thing or Is it just too far in advance to book and (hopefully) be able to book closer to the time ? No it's not allowed. I think they give permission for advertising purposes to a few.

Hi Maria! Thanks for watching and great question! No, you do not have to book Flyover Iceland in advance. Shows run every 15 to 20 minutes but each ride/experience is for a small group so you may have to wait depending on how many people are there and who has advance tickets.

I went on my recent trip. I think you should warn people it's a virtual roller coaster type ride. You rush past the scenery so fast I couldn't take it in. The emphasis seemed to be on giving people a thrill and I personally don't like that. I was sad because I so wanted to see the footage they'd shot.
