As a lefty, I really appreciate this Radio. The bind plug is ok. Once you bind it, your done. The range on the receivers is impressive!
@sebbbou54552 жыл бұрын
What exactly is the bind plug? You use it only once when you bind first time, or you left pluggued in the receiver all the time? Tks!

I like the one I have. The battery is harder to remove at first but once you get used to the way it slides it comes off okay.

small chunk of plastic came off the 1st time I removed the bottom base.. not exactly comforting when your shelling hundreds of dollars for a transmitter..

The abs works with the motor. I use it helps keep control in short shut down area.
@vrcmag2 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t work. It a pulse but abs on real cars has a sensor to detect wheel lock. You can just turn down the brakes and stop shorter.
@RazorRU19892 жыл бұрын
@@vrcmag I know it pulse like a ABS. Retired Mechanic 35 year bad knee from car accident forced me to stop wrenching I'm familiar with the system on a car. My car still slows down what I need in short shut down area I don't use lt all the time. Brakes are set up to slow down with drag brake if needed also.

I'm curious if it's a good radio for On-road Racing, I saw many videos where they say it's an excellent radio for off-road racing but when they switch to On road they go with a Sanwa or Futaba. Now I see that the Sanwa remote control MT-5 is in the same price range, so I wonder if I should go for the Flysky or Sanwa. another thing to consider is the cost of the receivers, If you plan to have multiple cars it's worth considering the cost of the receivers too.

I have been looking for about a week for a transmitter and this guy just made my mind up for me. I love it! no b/s straight to the point. The only thing is I punched this lady sitting next to me and told her the dude from vrcmag told me to do it she wasn’t to happy about it so here I sit in jail writing this instead of calling somebody to bail me out, anyways you got a new subscriber here!

Talking about response times, you notice it on a track. Switching from a dx5c (16ms) to a sanwa mt44(2ms) the car feels much more responsive, the first couple runs I kept cutting corners waaaaay to early.

Flysky are making some amazing radios... GT5 for rock crawling or bashing, Noble for racing... The prices are creeping up though because people are realising and switching from the bigger brands.
@dana27503 жыл бұрын
The way the ABS works is with 1/8 scale or larger gas powered vehicles that have a dedicated throttle/ brake servo. You can set it so it applies and releases the brakes extremely fast, kinda like pulsating the brakes just like ABS does. It’s not a gimmick if you know how to set it up.
@vrcmag3 жыл бұрын
ABS - in real cars use a sensor to sense week speed. Pulsing the brakes is not abs - and it’s a gimmick.

Don't forget to upgrade the firmware! Along with a 8ch, 10ch, or 12ch receiver you get 8ch to play with at the moment... Maybe future firmware update will give us even more channels. I love my nb4! Us it on almost every rc car I have (running). 20 bucks for a receiver isn't bad at all...

I have used this radio for over three years. No problems at all. Big receiver sucks! Small receiver works great. The touch screen is like using a cell phone. Don't worry about battery pack. It was made to not come off base. It seems hard to remove. It will not break . Over all it is at the same level as a spectrum radio.

I'm going to add to his speed and being fast enough comment if you actually look at what the professional drivers are using, they are not using any other transmitters with that company servos to run them as fast as they can, because even in normal mode most the time it is more than fast enough and faster than they can even react themselves so when the big three claimed this overly early fast speed, nobody ever uses them in that actual fastest speed, so it's a relevant do I think there is a magical number that might be better than others yes, but the point being not even one professional driver I have ever looked up Uses any other equipment in the fastest mode possible it's marketing strategy that's all it is because nobody actually uses it
