Same thing here. It's been 20+ years for me and everything is different. I'm older, so catching up is a headache as I navigate what electronics I want to kick off my reunion with RC cars.... I like the NB4, but they really need to make a more basic 4 channel version again with the nice screen at a price that is good for beginners..

Thanks for this, I nearly bought an NB4+ , the main feature I wanted was to be able to plug in a wheel and pedals and controller etc, so Pro + it is then, thank you. (Now to find one in the UK !!)

Thank you for another great video. I own an NB4 pro and was considering upgrading but the FlySky Assistant no longer appears to be working. I cannot connect my radio to the server and I've tried for hours over that few months. If you could please comment on this situation it would be greatly appreciated because I cannot find any information on why this is the case anywhere. Thank you in advance.

@ripper9111 if you have very old firmware it may not work with assistant anyway so you may have to use the standalone updater and not be able to back up the memory I can't remember when assistant was released but I know older nb4 firmware is too old but not sure about the pro

The pro+ is definitely the lowest latency I've raced with all of them the pro + also has a higher resolution throttle giving more control over throttle and brake but it's very difficult to show latency in a vid but it's something I'd like to do if I can find an accurate way to show it :)

Hello, I’m currently using the spectrum DX 5C and I want to switch to the noble, but my question is between the 2 new + models other than settings and what not is there any differences between the two such as steering, throttle, latency and so on it will be used for carpet racing. For any type of serious racing the pro+ is the easy choice, data logging, 2ch extra low latency mode, multiple added exponential options and the wheel foam feels amazing, the nb4+ is an excellent transmitter but the pro+ for racing is better but you will be happy with either of them :)

Only the pro and pro+ can have dials but yes you can set them to any of the sensor readings

You can set any sensors to each dial but only 2 dials

@@WTFRCCars Thank you For the Reply I Love the channel and learned a good amount im waiting on the Flysky FBr8 8CH AFHDS 3 to get here i am installing the Symmetric steering with the Hitec D845WP steering servo also upgrading to the need to Figure what Throttle Servo to use on the Baja 5B . Im still trying to see if i can install the Short Course setup to make this thing a little shorter. Im Not sure where i should get the SC Setup from. But ill figure something out. Going to install the 2S Lipo not sure if there is any that fit in Roven Symmetric box other then DDM that are any good. But i will see thank you again

I greatly apologize if this question has been answered already so please bear with me: I have the PRO+ and love it for 1/8 off-road outdoors. I would like to get another radio for indoor season and keep that radio clean (never out in dirt). The features I enjoy most out of the PRO+ are the wheel/wheel foam, 2-channel "fast mode", wireless charging and sensitive/crisp throttle and wheel response. Since it's intended to be an indoor radio I'm not so much concerned about the brighter screen. With all these items said, am I better off going with another PRO+ or will the standard + fulfill my wants? I am leaning toward just spending the extra money and getting another PRO+ for the case and option parts. Just wanted a second opinion. Thank you

Your better off with another pro+ as the pro+ is the only one with the new foam and tweaked throttle sensitivity

If you use any of the enhanced receivers with bvd it will show you any lipo level

Not an issue I've ever seen but could be faulty vibration motor, it's easy to swap but if it's new I'd check the firmware is upto date and if that doesn't work I'd take it back

I had the sanwa M17 and the original NB4 and the NB4 has a lower latency then the M17 does if this tells you anything. I now have the NB4+ on the way.

I'm thinking of using the fpv in rc cars with my simrig, triple screen or vr headset, combining that with head tracking and the support for external devices (wheel and pedals etc), so can rip around outisde whilst sat indoors, be great on rainy days and night times, hoping to get that omg I'm driving a real car feel too 😂. I run Spektrum SR315 receivers in all my cars , if I get the NB4+ to replace my Spektrum DX5pro transmitter, will I need to change my receivers ? Or will the Spektrum receivers by compatible with the Noble transmitter? Also, does the Noble transmitter allow mixing as I run two brake servos on one of my cars

No the spektrum receiver will only work with spektrum radio, and yes the nb4+ has a huge amount of mixing available

@JohnStenborg unfortunately no it doesn't it's not even close to the response time and really not user friendly to even do basic setups not that it's a bad radio but edge tx needs a lot of work before it's ready for main stream ground RC use and the mt12 is very low quality radio compared to even the original nb4, it's not a bad tx and edge tx is very good but both need a lot of work and think we are a long way off from any being any use for racing
