Definitely looking forward to the other video you are going to do about setting the duel rate to a button or dial. This is my rookie season doing NoPrep drag racing. As of now I only run 15% on my Steering epa. It would be nice to just be able to push a button after the run & have full steering to turn around & bring the car back.

I just got this radio today, which reciever should I use for my drag car? it comes with 2, Thank you
@WTFRCCars2 жыл бұрын
Both should be fine to use the fgr4 has more range though
@WTFRCCars2 жыл бұрын
The fgr4b is also a good one to use as it's got good range very small and allows you to set a polling rate for each channel so you can run a 1000hz servo for crazy fast steering and still a 330hz ESC :)

I’ve got weird problem with throttle I’m running a hw 13.5 spec I70 motor with hw xr10 spec 1cell which I have on my 1/12 scale pan. My problem is when I hit throttle it runs like 2 seconds then quits Motor and esc wired up correctly not sure if in esc or noble any suggestions I’ve never had this problem in last 6 years. Thanks
@WTFRCCars6 ай бұрын
Check that the transmitter and receiver are on the same firmware by updating the receiver from the transmitter menu. So long as this is correct and the channel is staying where you hold the throttle then I'd say run calibration on the esc, also make sure lvc is not set too high in the esc :)

@@WTFRCCars I noticed just below ur reply I had the same trouble on 1/12 scale pan car. Come to find out it was sensor wire I had to change wire 3 times and on the 3rd wire it work fine. Thanks for quick reply

Thanks mate. The green slider at the bottom of the screen, I can’t figure out what the purpose or benefit is? When I pull full acceleration the cross hairs only go to around 90%, and just 40% on the brake. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on 10% acceleration or 60% brakes, but I’m just surprised the throttle at least doesn’t go to 100% to match the rate setting of 100%. The brakes has less throw on the lever from neutral so I guess it’s distance based. Confused. Thanks again for this awesome NB4 content!

This sounds like you have the throttle and brake endpoints set and so it's restricting the travel.

@@WTFRCCars I just picked up an NB4 and have been religiously watching your content, thank you. I am also having the same issue as the above post even with my endpoints set to B-100 F-100 the throttle never goes past 62 and the brakes about 30

Reset the model memory then calibrate the nb4 :)
@Saint_MUFC Жыл бұрын
@@WTFRCCars so I tried this and it didn't work however I have solved it. You have to do the stick calibration on the transmitter (Settings > System > Stick Calibration). Once you do that the throttle and steering crosshairs go to 100
@WTFRCCars Жыл бұрын
Yeh that's what I ment by calibrate the nb4 :)

Just purchased and built 1/12 pan car have the hobbywing 1c esc and reedy17.5 s plus motor. It will run for bout 6 secs kinda slow then stops checked car over good sensor wire solder joints etc esc when plugged in program box tired 4 and won’t connect to esc. Well got new esc and same problem so I changed motors and runs few seconds then dies. Runs til I get 40% on trigger and anything over shuts it down. After it dies if I let off trigger then back on runs another 6 secs. Thinking it’s in settings on noble transmitter any suggestions. Thanks
