Your instructor’s demeanor is great! He’s building a really good calm approach to learning very complex stuff with you. When things start to get more difficult and happen faster you’ll be able to absorb the info and take the necessary criticism without any problems, and learn more effectively. I think he’s really good.

@@FlyWithKay I think Kay likes to fly. 😅. I had a smile watching you smile. My instructor once told me, “I like flying with you, Andy, because as soon as we get airborne you always get the biggest smile on your face.” This was a great video! When you said you were nervous about the steep turns, I was thinking yep, I’d be nervous, too. It’s a whole different airplane, lots of power and momentum, isn’t it? It was a long time ago, but I recall riding along on a skydiving flight in a B90 (had to wear a parachute in the right seat) the pilot let me make some turns on the descent. Compared to a Cessna 150, it was a lot different. But on the I initial descent out of 12,500’ after the jumpers were away, I think he did that 90-deg bank chop and drop maneuver. Although, I don’t think he dropped the gear. That was wild! That was cool watching you fly. Thanks for the really cool video!!

@@Andrew-13579 I remember the first day I had the left seat and my instructor was right seat, as soon as I rotated (in C172) and got off the ground he remarked about the ear to ear grin I had. I LOVE flying. It's so expensive though. One day maybe I'll own my own plane.

The plane was N233MW it belonged to Martha White Foods. The PIC was Jim Barnes. Jim’s regular SIC was sick and Jim asked me to fill in. We were IMC all the way down to Columbus Ga. And back to BNA. I got to fly most of the way back to BNA.
