I've been using Flywoo AiOs for a while now and I like them quite a lot. I never had a failing AiOs and I also have a fun anecdote about their durability: I was using a Goku GN745EVO in my 3 inch iNav Quad. During our holiday (late summer '23) I accidentally "landed" it in the top of a ~20 m tree in a nice cow pasture just next to the house we rented. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to retreive it. So the Quad spent quite some time in the top of the tree until it was blown down by the autumn storms. So last december I got a package from the owners of the house we rented for our holiday. They found the quad but only after it was trampled into the mud - guessing by the location of the tree - by some cows. The whole quad was tangled and full of dried mud. After removing the FC from the broken wreckage and thoroughly cleaning it it just works completely fine. It only lost one of its multicolor LEDs. I will use it in my replacement build. I guess there was a lot of luck involved but I still find that quite impressive.

Thx Lee! Always good to look at another player in the FC world. Wondering about thier wing boards line.

I am a *big* fan of their current f722-wing board - primarily because its one of a few which offer built-in PinIO support for the VTX power rail. Having the ability to shut off the VTX with the craft powered up and waiting on satellites has been much appreciated. No more overheating VTXs. (Matek offers one with similar functionality, but it is more $$.) What I *don't* like about that board is its layout. Most of the holes / pads are unlabeled meaning that soldering it up is a tedious process involving lots of going back-and forth between the diagram and the board. Maintenance is a hassle for the same reason. (The Speedybee boards are king when it comes to labeling.) Sure would be nice if Flywoo puts out a new version of the wing board with proper labeling and the white background like the ones discussed in the video....

Thanks for the review, personally I don't like flywoo, I have had two years of this brand and I was very disappointed to see that the stm32 that it mounts are always low-end, for example. F405 aio 1-2s, it is mounted on the flylens, the f405 is the 512k version and the fc f745evohd the f745 is the 512k version. I also don't understand the f722 pro mounts mpu6000 and the mini doesn't. Thank you for your work

I noticed that their GOKU HD 745 EVO is 1MB , not 512k?
@elarkangelmiguel8 ай бұрын
@@fongfpv738 Yes, they updated the chip that is why it specifies 1mb version in the image. My version is 1.0, you can search for that version and you will see that it has an f745 512k, greetings

I bought the mini for the quadmula djinn and it arrived in 4 weeks I live in us new york and when I hooked it to Betaflight and did a dump backup it had errors saying no config ok no big deal it looked like it was ok so I started the build when done there was no communication to the esc so I decided to update the firmware but flywoo says use the target FLYWOO F722PRO when I did Betaflight said wrong target but I flashed it anyway to 4.5 then the board orientation was way off and I could not change motor direction after messing around I flashed it to BF4.3 and that fixed the esc and motor direction problem My biggest gripe is no detailed instruction manual how do I use the vtx power switch things like that would help a noob

Is the analog connection for VTX 5v or can it be switched to 10v?
@cowboybebop521Ай бұрын
was asking specifically for the mini but it looks like There is a analog vtx pad for 10v and 5v, just a little complicated. the switch from 5v to 10v is in betaflight which is weird, Im more used to the bridge pads.
