Excellent build and thank you for writing the details for all viewers benefit. I have only 3 questions: - how is the kit now after 2 years. - have you done clutch upgrade and clutch basket? - have upgrade the compensator? - did you change to chain kit instead, as I believe the belt will not accommodate the extra power? - have you bought a complete crankshaft from DH or I am getting it wrong?
@BafflingBS Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It is the full M.O.W. Crank. I did have to upgrade my clutch and compensator. Nothing special, just an extra disk Kevlar clutch, an AIM vpc and the Screaming Eagle compensator. Seems to be holding up very well! Keeping the belt, it’s holding up very well. I think the rule of thumb is, 150/150

@@BafflingBS Wow, 150/150 out of 110 ci is great how did you reach up that number? If I recall you mentioned 117/130. Have you added other components? this is what I am targeting. For me I am going with Evo industries clutch and DH compensator. And will do the same like you with full crank. May i ask how did you manage to add ACR? And have upgraded engine heads to FM level B or street outlaw? 😅

@@BafflingBS appreciate some details, how did you managed to reached 150/150
@BafflingBS Жыл бұрын
@@lio1999 Noooooo! Absolutely not! LOL!!! 130/130 is about the max you can obtain from a naturally aspirated 110". I'm at 117/130. I think for 150/150, you'd need a super charger, NOS or a turbo, for those numbers, on a 110". I just meant the threshold for going to chain, is around 150/150

@@BafflingBS LOL, seems i was dreaming with 150/150. However, 117/130 is absolutely good numbers. many thanks to you for the details and drive safe.

Hey man nice scooter! I pretty much done the same setup on my 08 roadking just different exhaust. A for overall engine noise did you notice more with the more aggressive cams and forged pistons
@BafflingBS Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Unfortunately, yes… A great deal more noise. But, if you have an open air cleaner, such as myself, then at least 50%, of the noise, is from that.

I got a 2012 Road Glide 110 CVO that I am looking at the Zippers 113 Muscle Kit and bottom end work. Thinking about have C&C or Lucky’s do the work so I don’t screw it up.
@BafflingBS2 жыл бұрын
Lucky’s did my lower end, and he was meticulous. He also backs his work, 100%. I don’t have any dealing’s with C&C. Why not go with the 117” or, better yet, have your case bored for Zipper’s 124? That comes with an S&S crank. Jimmy (Lucky’s) can bore your case, on site. I wish I had known then, what I know now

Heck of a set up and a good looking ride!!! Are you running stock gearing as far as pulleys and motor sprocket?
@BafflingBS3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes I am. I didn’t feel the need to change the gearing, because it has plenty of low end torque.

How much HP is it making now? How's the start up once it warm/hot? I'm thinking about this kit but with the Woods 777 cams...
@BafflingBS2 жыл бұрын
117hp/130tq Startup is good. Especially when warmed up. Sometimes on first crank. The ACR’s, were one of the best additions to >2006 heads.

Sounds great. You do the work yourself or a shop in Maryland?

Lower half was done here in MD. Lucky’s. The upper half, was done by Fuel Moto.

About to do the same kit 110 outlaw. What numbers did you get.
@BafflingBS2 жыл бұрын
@@integraturbo1 117/130… You should get as much as 130/130, with the higher compression of the Outlaw kit, and, depending on your exhaust. Your cam and heads will be different, as well. You might want to have them do your crank at the same time.
@integraturbo12 жыл бұрын
@@BafflingBS good numbers. did you have any crank issues.
@BafflingBS2 жыл бұрын
@@integraturbo1 my bike started to making weird noises, that ended up being the compensator, and I got paranoid about it. So, I went overboard and ordered a Man-O-War crank, Timken conversion, Andrews pinion gear, Feuling oil pump, Zippers cam plate, S&S cylinder oil jets, and a bunch of other things. Before doing the work, I did call Frank Drago, and asked him about his twin cam, crank failure experience. He said that once you get above 120hp (and torque, I believe) you should have your crank addressed. I didn’t want to throw my money down the toilet, by having my engine fly apart. (Like I said, I got paranoid 😩) Now, with 130/130, I would definitely do it.
