Diablo was the best tactic creator remember using one of his tactics with Everton and Liverpool and they came up against each other in CL Final went to pens rate game.

Lol I just thought I'd try this in my Sociedad save. Its totally broken, just like CM03/04. Won the league first season - first game beat Real 5-1 away - Sadiq hat-trick. Stupid broken tactic: only differences I made were the DM as an Anchor and wingers on Attack also

That game was all about gung ho before they patched it. I was rocking flat 4-4-2 with Real Betis and just smashing teams with 8-1 or 7-2 results. Second tactic from the vid reminds me of strange AI tactics used by our opponents in CM3 - 98/99, 00/01 and 01/02. And there was one tactic that really broke the game against human players and it was named "defensive/def counter". Few seasons in the save and your most formidable opponents almost exclusively used this tactic against you.

Imo mastering Spain is the most challenging thing in FM and by mastering I mean winning at least 15 titles of the 30 national titles you’re gonna compete for (League, Cup and Spanish Supercup) in 10 years. The budget distribution in Spain is so unbalanced that is nearly impossible to compete with the 2 giants (sometimes 3 with Atlético) consistently during your save. In the rest of Europe is much easier to master local competitions

Ah I remember Diablo, you could beat teams 6 or 7 nil with an average team. I'm 100% sure they patched it on back on CM03/04. If I remember right it was something to do with the 2 strikers and 2 wingers leaving the CM open countless times during a match. If he had good finishing/long shots he would score 30+ a season. After the last CM03/04 patch it was still strong but not as silly as before. It was definitely a match engine exploit at the time.

To the first tactic: I started a new save recently with the idea of a young female headcoach with no experience in professional football at all but with the dream to win the CL at some point in her career. Starting unemployed and with no reputation under her belt the only job the only job available was a mid season rescue misson with in the 3rd tier of japanes football at a club thats predicted to get relegated and is currently on the 2nd last place in the league. Since EVERY team in japan is playing a 4-4-2 i only changed ur first tactic from a CM to an OM and OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?! With only half a season she manged to finish 10th in the league and in her 2nd season she won the championship. Btw that brings me to a question that maybe u, or ur community could help me with: Since she is only an amateur coach her stats are super low. i thought she will level up after doing some coaching courses but after 2 courses i cant see a difference. Do coaches even level up or become better? Do i miss something?
