The Low Block WORKS! I changed to a 4-3-3 formation using a Low Block defense on my Oldham team and since then I've been undefeated , even beating top of the table Boreham Wood 2-0 at their place.

Totally agree, there's the misconception that using a low block implies playing more defensively and therefore having less chances and while part of it is true, using a low block with a somewhat attacking tactic seems to throw top teams off guard most of the time.

it's an interesting concept playing a low block with an attacking mentality and I used it a lot in FM 23. I think the low block is a good defensive set up in that you just have a lot of players behind the ball. The mentality aspect is separate but if you play attacking mentality in any set up there is a risk of the space vacated by the attacking players being exploited. Therefore for me the same will apply with the low block. There is a school of thought in FM24 that playing in a balanced mentality is the most effective mentality. I somewhat agree with this this but not totally convinced. I think your suggestion that playing the low block with an attacking mentality could throw off top teams may have some traction

I do notice mate you like a gung ho approach....I'm a little more defensively minded. lol....I saw your tactic you were trying with 2 strikers and 3 attacking mids...1 center mid...lol...lets attack!
