Ys:O music is hot like fire, I love it! And it's the super arrange version, too! Great! I think the feel is a little busier than, say, Ys III on X68000, but I suspect that really comes down to how prominent and energetic the percussion is compared to the leads (that's actually accurate to how Silent Desert sounds normally IIRC). The other thing that's interesting is how this relies so heavily on the strength of the poly leads and there's not really any of the countermelody or other ornamentation that helped make a lot of the older FM Ys songs feel more full. I think it highlights how the modern music has changed.
