Nice video but when you were looking at Bajčetić and mentioned big matches must be average because it’s not on the coach report, don’t forget that it’s hidden from that report until a certain age (22 I think).

The problem with atributes, CA, PA and all that is that its very easy to misinterpret and end up underperforming or over performing without really understanding why. Its understanding that its key. Atributes per position are weighted and then you derive the mean sum after you apply the weight modifier. That in theory gives you the CA. All good so far. It doesnt tell you the consistency of the player as you perfectly put in this video, nor the potential to reach it (professionalism, adaptability, etc) not does it tell you the type of player that you have and if they will succeed in your tactic. We all have a memory of that one player that regularly overperforms all your other signings that should in theory outshine that one dude. This is why. A physical af cb will not play the same as a very technical, confortable with the ball but still good at defense (due to other reasons than physicality) cb. This is the nature of the beast we are dealing with here. Ofc at 160+ CA this will matter less and less because the players get so good It mostly dont matter anymore

I'd say each level drops by one, at least that's my rule of thumb. But just scan the top couple of teams in the div and see where they're at - looking at their best few players should tell you what you need to aim for if you want promotion

It really bothers me that Height and Jumping aren't independent attributes, would add much more flavour to the game.

I'm with you, but I -think- Cannavaro was kind of a case in point around the time of the change since in-game he wasn't that good whereas IRL he was a beast aerially too and was winning the Bd'O

They are dependent but cannot be considered tightly dependent. There are 5'9 dudes out there dunking. You can have springs for legs and on the other hand be tall with 0 physicality. Ofc there should be modifiers and thresholds but not even in real Life is that determinant

My aim is a 433 possesion based and trying to not concede many. Defence iwbl s, cd d, libero d,ifb d. My therory here is based on your vids and i think this is a good solid base to start with. PI;s iwb take fewer risks, close down more,mark tighter, tackle harder. cd d close down more,take fewer risks and mark tighter, Libero same as cd. ifb d take fewer risks,ckose down more,shoot less and mark tighter Tell me what you think so far all this is a WIP.

Onto the midfield 3 this ones a little more tricky as the options are huge but i settled on a Mezzala a, Advance Playmaker s and Half Back d. with thse ive added Mez shoot less,mark tighter,cross less my therory being he wont get tangled up doing more elaborate stuff. AP hold position,mark tighter again nothing elaborate just do the basics and the HB take fewer risks,close down less,shoot less,ease of tackles with him i wanted him to not move and stay deep .

I'd look at 13 or so being functional for the league, but you can't get away with weak mentals since it's a top league. I'd also probs want 15+ on a few guys in certain areas, like passing+vision for a playmaker, finishing on an AF, jumping on CBs and TM, and so on, especially if I want to go for podium or challenge PSG

Whats the best attributes to counter attack?

imo you want people who win the ball, then people who execute the counter (fluid passing or direct running). So depending on which I'd look for like, passing+vision+agility+balance+off the ball on the counterattackers, or for direct counters a specific instigator like a DLP with passing+vision plus a winger and a striker with some pace, accel, and dribbling

@@Heart0verheight3 what is his position. Note that flair is an offensive attribute. It's a natural counter for marking. So as as CB, for example, that attr means nothing. I prefer strength over flair for a CB.

not at all, it just means he's unlikely to do unexpected stuff. If he's a winger or treq or something a lack of flair will hurt him a bit, but other attributes will make up for it even in these positions - like my Robertson example. I wouldn't worry at all about low flair unless the player's specific job is to dribble and, to a lesser extent, create
