excellent work as usual!! the only problem is that Dani Alves is not loaded into the game, neither if I use the save file nor if I use the editor file (he is present in the editor itself and I set the game as recommended by you here in the video).. do you have any idea what the problem could be? 🤔

Hi. Thank you very much. I have chosen to leave out Dani Alves and Robinho and others on purpose. As you say they are added to the db on the editor, and if you want them to show in the game. You will have to open their profile on the editor and remove the retirement, and save the database file. Then they will show up in the game.

hey The Mad Scientist i just wanted to say thank you so much for making this database and all the time you put into really paid off. Im just wondering if in this database players like mo salah and sadio mane will come through because unless im being stupid i cant seem to find then but i can find players like kevin de bruyne and eden hazard who are very close in age to salah and mane. thanks again for this database im really enjoying it so far.

@@BigJT64 The creator of the regen mod has released his mod exclusively on patreon. When you have downloaded the shortlist move it into the sports interactive/football manager 2024/shortlists folder. Run FM24 and go to shortlists and choose to Load shortlist.

Hopefully you'll see this! I've been loving this database but encoutered a big problem yesterday. In my first season, as soon as the youth intake started in the march/april - players were duplicated. so gareth bale is at tottenham but then southampton get a new regen gareth bale. this happened across all leagues and clubs. real madrid even had 3 of the same player. Has anyone else encountered this? Has it been fixed? Thanks in advance.

Hey. There has been some duplicates there's been added with the regen mod. The creator of the mod have updated his mod since the first release. You are welcome to report any duplicates to him.

Love this database just got it today and I’m full of nostalgia. Just wondering though, what’s the benefit of the save game file rather than just setting up your own ?

I am happy to hear that. The save game file has everything loaded, all players and all playable leagues. It loads quicker and is plug and play compared to the fmf file.

Have downloaded this but competitions are showing as Europa League & Europa Conference League, shouldn't it be UEFA cup and no Conference League? Great work by the way!

Just restart FM and the names will change to the old formats. Its because it conflicts with the real name fix file, but a simple restart should take care of it.

Is it on purpose that the Conference League is still in the game (as Euro Cup), and that the UEFA Cup does not have groups of 5 teams as it did in 07/08?

Yes, sadly we couldn't get the old format rules to work, due to some issues with the pre game editor.

I am not familiar with the setup on Mac unfortunately. I only got a setup guide for the save game file, hopefully it can help you find the correct folders. For MAC users : 1. Copy the .fm file 2. open folder 3. click "Go" on the top menu 4. hold the option key or Alt and this will reveal the library 5. open the library 6. click the application support 7. open sports interactive and then fm24 8. open the Games and paste the data file Now load it up
