Dear Leon, only one question : For the Cygnus 4.01 should do only an update of the 4.01 firmware (and it automaticaly does the download the Cygnus Amps, Cabs and effects) or I have to additional dowload the IR etc Cygnus after the 4.01 firmware update ? I only did the update firmware 4.01 but I don't know if the IRs were downloaded automaticaly. I am lost. Many thanks in advance. Phil.

To update your FM3 you just need to install the firmware. If you'd like to use my presets (available from Discord) then you'll need to install a single IR included with the preset link.

Do you use the speaker impedance curve when using a real cabinet or do you turn it to zero....or does it depend?

With a solid state power amp and cab - yes

@@LeonTodd Thanks for the response. This is starting to make sense. So with my Freyette tube amp and cab I love the sound,, but I assume the solid state combined with the curve helps compensate for the sound I was having with the Seymour Duncan Powerstage. I sent back the PowerStage because it had a boxy sort of of sound (not tubby not quite masked) that I needed to eq out around 250-400,...if I am understanding you correctly. I am currently using the Fryette and besides the 13 lb bulk it sounds amazing but I wanted to get a fly rig with the PowerStage being so small. The other weird thing is the powerstage sounded significantly wetter in regards to the effects than the Freyette but it just lacked the warmth and umph of the tube. I am convinced I could have tweaked the FM3 to get what I wanted out of the PowerStage, but I just didn't know how to do it and had a limited time frame to return the Seymour if I didn't like it.

Leon ... I downloaded BurgsBronwnies presets & KingEdwards presets for the Van Halen tone for my Fm3 ... yet it was designed for AxFx III .. and it crashes the unit. Can I delete presets to allow the above presets ( Van Halen ) to operate?? I even tried the frac-converter program and nuttin'

Hey Leon! Weird-ish question - but what picks do you use? The reason I ask is I really like the way the "ridged" side of Heredim picks sound - but prefer using Jazz III XL pick shape overall. Your pick attack/tone sound more like a Heredim, but I don't see a yellow/red/blue pick. Thank you in advance!
