Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is and always will be my favorite anime. Been with me since I was a kid. And even if 03 didn’t follow the manga, it’s still good. Anyone who is thinking about watching it, suggest watching FMA 03 first, then Brotherhood. Read the manga too, if you can. It, too, is a masterpiece.

ok so i am writing this here only because i want to see if someone actually feels this when listening to this song. so on a saturday afternoon me and my family were driving along a rural-nature-old rocks and bricks- type of village up in the hills and i had this song in my headphones. i got out from the car and run a little to take some pictures of some ducks. the feeling i felt right when i was running with this song through that village made me so alive. i guess i am felt it right through me. what does this song make you feel? i know what i feel but god damn i can't put it into words. ( i\m from europe btw lmao ).

For me, this song is extremely nostalgic. It reminds me of my Childhood, when I'd watch this show on the weekends, particularly after the death of my great grandmother, of whom I was extremely close. This song, along with the soundtrack from the Fable games, give me this sort of longing towards a childhood innocence to the world that has unfortunately been mostly washed away, with the stress and hardships that come with being an adult. But sometimes, sometimes...I'll flip this song over at night, and I'll let myself weep. Not because I'm sad, but because that small child who saw the world with rose tinted glasses is still alive, and that the longing I feel is simply proof that I have not, and will never lose my idealism and roots, even if they're hard to see, with the negatively that comes with daily life.

The original anime did have the far superior soundtrack I think, I remember back when brotherhood was coming out I was quite sad that this track wouldn't be in it, it was so synonomous with fma before the second anime was released. While the original anime didn't follow the manga, it's music and character work captured the manga's spirit in a way that brotherhood never did. I'd love to see a fusion of these two animes, as neither fully represent the source material on their own.

viola and a violin are quit similar but not the same because the viola in a bit bigger and the notes are deeper, and the violin is smaller and has higher notes, there is more differences but those are the most noticeable
