GM Rodel Dagooc ( @TheArnisGuru ) originally started his journey in Karate before studying Modern Arnis under the late Professor Remy Presas, the founder of Modern Arnis. GM Rodel became a lead instructor in Modern Arnis and also created his own system called Dagooc Arnis Systems (DAS). He also is one of the main supplier of rattan sticks and training gear in the Philippines.

GM Rodel was in Malaysia for a 2 day seminar in PJ recently. He has great skill and is still very fast with his smoking stick. He is a friendly GM who likes to impart his skills to all the lovers of the Filipino martial art. Glad to have met him in the seminar.😊

GM Rodel is a gem, both as a teacher and his personality. Looks like he has a great sense of humor. Really happy that he’s able to build his brand and spread it around the world from the Philippines. Sir, can I be the smoking stick focul person in Eswatini. I have deep passion for this art. I am a 38 year old college lecturer. I have first dan black belt in Shin Kyokushin Karate and Taekwondo. I tought myself nunchucks and sticks from childhood and have been practicising eversince. I have been following filipino martial arts as directed by the history of Bruce Lee and Dan Inosanto. I am believe myself to have a calling in the fighting arts. My research has led me to the Filipino fighting sticks. I view this art as the God art, with it's efficiency and complexity, this art to me is the best from a weapon point of view. Teacher teach me with respect from my heart.
