No machine issues, no lost ballots, voting ID needed, no border shenanigan, no blocking of political voices (twitter!)....and "news channel" should be unbias. I recall an ABC News White House correspondent GUSHING with other correspondents about the perks of being a White House correspondent, which spoke to me as one of the major problems with national news media. They’re out of touch with their purpose, with the public and dreaming about power, pageantry, ego, legacy, and chandelier dinners in billionaire wine caves.

I was listening to a debate of Christopher hitchens on Charlie rose and a book publisher - hitchens was defending that an author had a right to publish in America and publishers shouldn’t be in the business of censoring and favoring ideas or writers who’s opinion they like - it was the beginning of the end of bravery in ideas. Trusting the adults to take information and think for themselves. Now it’s all gone. Back in the early 90s when this was on hitchens said it’s a slippery slope- the publisher bowed to their woke emoloyeees and the woke public protesting and it was all set to publish. Oddly enough in Christopher hitchens country of the UK they printed and published there and the British public thought we were losing our liberal values of freedom of the press. Look at us now

Not taught---programmed. And they aren't programmed to be activists. They are programmed to be political operatives. There is a difference between an activist and a political operative. Activists spring up from an organic cause or situation that greatly affects the lower classes and target those higher up than them on society's totem pole. Political operatives come from the top and use artificial causes and situations to target those below them who they feel are potential threats to their power.

Maybe it's not as visible or applicable wrt to the US, even though the First Amendment made for explosive News Industry growth in the late 18th and 19th Centuries (until the US Civil War, both World Wars in Europe, and Korea if not Vietnam as well put an end to it with Executive Orders and Court Rulings) and let the US press leapfrog State ministries and organs of more educated and established countries, but couldn't the currently observed phenomenon be partly a product of millennials and zoomers favoring digital and online over cable or radio broadcast media? Even when you're paying a subscription for it, like cable or satellite XM radio, it's at least 25-33% Ad Content anyway. Pay-per-view doesn't mean ad-free anymore, even with live performances or sports events. Remember a decade or two ago, or on cartridge video game systems, when in-game Ad Placement was almost an afterthought if done at all, instead of a Design consideration or priority?
