That black window trim really completes it. You basically did 99% of what I wanted to do with it thought I’m debating different tires and wheels. Also thinking about a different driver ofc . Thinking of a goose character I’d make somehow. Gus the geese goose. He works in HR. Drives aggressively on the weekends.

This Jimmy is one of the most overlooked R/C vehicle today. You did an excellent job on this Jimmy. For the low price, I am thinking about getting a second one before it's no longer available.

I love the doll, I been looking for a scale doll that fits my trucks, all of them are FMS 1/10 scale. What size doll do you need for the FMS JF40?

That's an great overview mate! Your truck looks fantastic in that yellow. I noticed you got away with the standard servo location. Some people recommend mounting it from the underside 🤔

Thanks. No need to mount underneath (which would involve cutting). Just spacing the links down. And in my case, rotating the servo for better link geometry.

Actually I love the wheels and tires tho I think I’d like slightly narrower tires

Great review! Did you have to use a different size screw to attach the damper to the caster? I tried using the one that came with it and it didn’t seem to fit. Thank you!
@fiveeight0sixsix10 ай бұрын
I don't remember. It's always useful to have a few different screw lengths to hand.

I thought it would have been a lot quieter with brushless. Any idea how to make it so?

The noise all comes from the metal pinion and the metal spur gear. Packing with grease isn't enough to stop it. I did investigate getting some plastic gears made but they are cost prohibitive.
