It’s an interesting design for sure. Wonder how she will hold up over time. I’m not sure about that cogging sound when you move it? Mesh incorrect? Maybe just needs some grease? Heck I don’t know, maybe it’s supposed to sound like that. Thanks for sharing, super cool you got one.

It is supposed to sound like that basically means it's going to be badass. And to be honest, these have been out for almost a year, but branded buy other companies FMS has recently branded their own version of it and Ford license it. But it actually has been around long enough to prove itself. It's a beast.

That's the same controller that came with my HNR Wearwolf. Mine just has blue highlights and says X5E-150 on the side.

thinking of ordering this with your link but my computer died after 24 yrs and want a 3d printer worse lol. never fails new rc not enough money to do what i want having stage 4 cancer. ahh use the middle finger it points better lol, as far as running 5 s yes it will work , i have some esc that will beep 5 times a few dont. but they all work. my radio shows car battery voltage and i set an alarm so it doesn't over draw on some cheaper esc's. fyi best to put 2s on first lead and 3s to esc . will draw more out of 3s a balance thing with separate packs. 2s on neg lead 3s on pos. i build packs for my drones 5s . save all lipo's test cells and build new . usually only one cell puffs first. have packs that are 10 plus yrs old. fyi its a small motor combo for the weight of that rc . needs 8s a friend has the yiong version exactly the same

its a hw max 8 combo , have a few , no deans cant handle amps ec5 or larger 8mm best less heat 80 to 100 c and youll have enough but as we know C rating is a lie with most of the batteries out there, smc, and roaring top and zee premium are pretty accurate c rated batteries . hopefully fms doesnt' get in trouble with the bronco emblem not being licensed . they should have told you inflluencers lol

to answer your 5s question, no you do not want to do that for this reason, you want both packs to be same cell and same mah or you will have balancing issues and kill batteries.

no you cant use different battery voltages. super basic knowledge. If you wanted a 5s 18.5v you need to make a single battery with that voltage.

It is not a very good idea to run five cells they do them in pairs for a reason, two cell 3 cell 4 cell six cell, all of these are singular packs, if running two packs you need them to be even for instance you're running a two cell and a 3-cell on the same car one cell in the 3-cell pack will not get used properly therefore ruining your 3-cell pack does that make sense, if you're running a single pack that is 2 cell,3 cell,4 cell or 6 cell, for some reason I have never seen a five sell single pack, but to be clear if you are running two battery packs they should be equal in cells.
