You need to do 2 things.... 1. Get the gear up. This will get rid of the drag that is slowing the plane down. Wherever you got the plane from should resolve that matter for you quickly... Remember, airplanes have retractable landing gear for only one reason: it simply makes it fly faster....... 2. The plane should probably be producing more power than it is... it's hard to tell because you are flying it high enough that there is little ground reference to compare it to... The prop appears to be turning slowly....There should be an ESC programming guide, start with that & reprogram the ESC to its default setting.

+RCINFORMER Sorry bud...deferring to the guide makes you look like all talk. I was looking for a genuine answer from you and did not get it. For your information I flew this plane twice before this flight and its cant go above 50 mph. And the speed, as a I have stated in your channel, this does not fly as you stated at 80 mph. Your claim of 80mph is now simply a lie - specially when you punt my honest question to the ESC programming guide. I asked you in your channel what you timing you have yours since you insist yours is correct and you decide to defer to the guide which tells me you don't know your own setting. Stay off my channel...you have lost all credibility with me.

+Wefinance01 Just in case you didn't catch it...I flew it with all the gears up and be lucky to get 50mph.My fix is to get a higher KV motor around 360kv should fly at around 60amps unloaded in the air and around 80 on max load at takeoff.

+Wefinance01 My Man.. You are way over thinking this...lol... call me on the business line 407-683-6032... I am available anytime!.... Deferring you to the guide is not "all talk" as you put it:) It is possible however, that your ESC was not programmed with the proper timing.. TRY TO RESET IT MAN! Its a hobby, you are supposed to try stuff! Mine has been in the factory default setting for 2 years... so honestly I really do not know now where it is set...lol, but it works great for me:) If you are going to call me a liar at least have the guts to call me, either that or we can go draw Mustangs at 20 paces at any time and place of your choosing In Orlando:) I really do not know what your experience level is, but if your are "experienced enough" as you indicated, I am not sure why you need my help for anything:) I report everything as honestly as I can.... keep in mind that i do not sell any airplanes or make commissions from the sales of any of the models I review and promote... I mostly product test for manufacturers and improve most of the planes I make videos for... I only demo and promote models and products that I feel are outstanding.... It would probably be best for you to contact the dealer you purchased the plane from, I am sure they can assist you! I hope i answered your questions? Oh yea, BTW, try being nice, you will get better results in life!

+RCINFORMER ..lol...lm a nice guy..just with use car salesman...done pretty well in life nit taking trash talk from people. At least I back my claims and if their is any misunderstanding I try to amend and help out...you on the other hand has been all talk of 80mph and being a smart $$$ by your first remark of "define power" and your accusation of me lying about the horrible speed of this plane out of the box.

+Wefinance01 Does my plane look like it is doing 50 in my videos?

recheck you connections for your right gear....
@Wefi019 жыл бұрын
+RCINFORMER really? come on man! I expected a better recommendation that this..do you not think I'm experienced enough to check and recheck...the problem is the end point switch, not the connection.

What is your density altitude there? Field elevation? I fly all my stuff at sea level where everything performs better....
@Wefi019 жыл бұрын
+RCINFORMER around 1k ft...not going to make that much of an impact...I have decided to get the 360kv motor..this should get me at 60-65 amps in the air and close to 75-80 amps in my style of take off...this is the way i see this besides changing the prop pitch to get the performance you claimed. You still haven't figured out your ESC setting to get you to 80mph? :)

I have my plane burried way back in the trailer from this weekends airshow, so it is hard to get to at the moment... It is no big deal to change the Timing setting... just set the timing to high and check it on a Watt meter. as long as you do not exceed the ESC amp limit you will not hurt anything.... that is always the free way to boost the power a bit without damaging anything or buying anything:)

On many of the 980mm FMS birds, there is lots of margin to go to high timing on the ESC without over amping the ESC to boost the power... I may have upped the timing on the 1700mm Mustang a long time ago, but I dont really recall if i set it that way or not... I have to pull the plane from the trailer tomorrow to move some stuff around, I will see about putting it on the watt meter and see what i get...
