Pretty flight with the snow and the color of the FMS F4U Corsair. That girl was my second "bigger"plane. She'll fly low and slow-ish. She really does like to be flown at higher throttle. Love the Reflex V2. I have it on a 3 way switch to maximize all 3 settings. It has saved my bacon more than once while developing my muscle memory. Added some white to her nose for better orientation. Just what I needed to do. Nice plane. Fun plane. Awesome Park Flier. Fun vid. P.S. My girl has always been a hand launch and belly Lander from day one. The grass is just too dang tall where I fly. Totally recommend this plane.

I have done lots of flights on mine and heavily modified it with a three bladed prop running 3s 1300mAh!

Do have problems with thermal shut offs? I run mine on 3s and after a few passes it shuts down the prop.

Awesome! Glad we can help you get it together, but please, PLEASE keep in mind, this is NOT A BEGINNER PLANE! I realize you didn't specify, so if you're NOT a beginner, please disregard my concern. If you ARE a beginner - PLEASE GET A BEGINNER PLANE and keep this one for a few planes down the line. It's a great plane, but it's not the easiest to fly, and I want to help make sure you find success! P.S. We have "UNBOX BUILD RADIO SETUP" videos for THIS and pretty much every plane we do...so you can see EXACTLY how we do it - step by step. Good luck, and happy flying!

I've always looked to your channel for an informed opinion on the planes I buy. The F4U 800mm Corsair flys better than you've given it credit. It will fly at 50% throttle with no problems and 35-40% to bring it into land with the right angle of attack. Plenty of power on the version 2 with a 2S 1000amh battery! An amazing plane! 5mins on 1000mah 7 mins with a 1300! Safely!

I love your content on You Tube and I’m influenced by your thoughts as I’m relatively new to the flying RC world. I started flying around 6 months ago and started off with the 400mm warbirds, the P51 from Volantex now I’m ten planes in! Some of the planes I’ve made my decisions based on your reviews like the X-fly T7A 64mm, Arrows 50mm Viper and the Radiolink A560 which I love! Respect to you and your channel! Keep doing what you’re doing and happy flying!

I love these, I have one that's more glue than foam, and another minter with a ar630, spektrum 60amp and a different master airscrew on 4s, full rates it's insane! Also, runs these on 1300-2200 3s out the box, loves it!

I have nearly all of FMS's 800mm warbirds,and a 980 mm P-40...never an issue with any of them!

I still have to maiden this one. Surprisingly it came with the Reflex V1. I think it utilizes the same factory settings, though it can't be programmed for other models. I hope it works/flys as well as the V2. I will be using 3s. Good stuff Brian and Camera Crew. AirHammer out!!

I wouldn't blame FMS for the gear failure. It happens to every manufacture. They probably made 10,000 wire struts and you got the one that failed. With precision bending of that gauge of wire and getting clean 90deg bends it stands to reason that's a weak point. nice plane the perfect size to keep in the car and fly sometimes when the urge strikes. thinking of getting one in the 800mm class bravo Brian and Megan opps sorry camera crew lmao i love the long format 100% more then 15 min ones the others do keep em coming my friends. Still really snowy here in London Ontario Canada but the nice weather is coming god bless and be safe

I just bought the same plane. It flies really steadily when there is no wind. If you can, try using a 7040 FPVpropeller. It will fly better

That gear break is disappointing, but not a deal breaker for me. Probably wouldn't stop me from flying-even away from my home work shop. I'm an "improvise, adapt, overcome" type of enthusiast, though. Still love that F4U!! 👍

People say the T-28 is the best trainer warbird.. but I say if you can master this one, you can do them all! 3s 45c 850m is best!

I just clicked the link. That's a really inexpensive plane! I'm surprised. Even the RTF isn't too pricey-for someone that doesn't have that fancy NX8 in the stable. It's in the "probably won't cause a divorce" price range. Nice job FMS 👍 Shame about that gear bogey.

Hi Brian, I bought the rtf version of this plane, quickly set it up but my Ailerons are not functioning. Everything came pre installed and I've doubled checked connections. Any trouble shooting ideas for me?

That's a good question. Maybe it was that it wasn't rated for it, BUT that hasn't stopped us from doing it with other planes LIKE this.

Q: is this for beginners ? Im not seeing safe select. So it would be a lot harder to fly for a beginner ? I get stuck in downward spirals when i turn safe select off.

Stock flysky remote auto level is all the way toward you, off middle, stabilize forward

Hi Brian, I have a question for you concerning your battery alarm in your plane. Does it tell you when it gets down to a certain percentage left or is it at a specific voltage left?

Kevine the ones I use I set them for a certain voltage and mine will alarm when they reach it so if I could help with the question its a certain voltage that you can set
