This is so impressive... and i LOVE the body! You should talk to SOMEBODY about doing a hard body in brown plastic so that as paint gets scraped off and stuff it just looks like patina.

Wish they made anti foam for scx24 bought two pair for my 1/10 scale because excaged liked them and all i have to say is wow .

I’ve not been that impressed with anti foams in 1/10. Bought them because how much he loves them and I prefer the halo foams most of the time. Anti foams just seem super bouncy at times. I was hoping I’d love them. Bought a printer and started printing my own as well but I prefer the foams for 1/10. They work but not my favorite. Have you ran Flubberstufferz in your Scx24 tires?

No I like because no roll over on sidewalls. I'm having a bad rc day today. Lizard pro die in my scx24 and my wife's scx24 the steering servo died so we broke out our rgt 136161s and the motor in mine died so today has not been good lol.

Put a little bit of thermal paste inside the heatsink for better thermal efficiency.

Thanks!! I think I can live with this low speed control... The original setup is great but sometimes the high speed is so long it cogs when starting in a steep incline, so while I don't dare to change gearing in it, this speed motor can add that wheel speed in low.

Nice! They are pretty nice. The combo builds with Scx24 trans and fcx axles are probably still the best crawlers but these trucks are a lot of fun with the 2 speed.

If your heat sink isn't tight against the motor, it isn't helping to dissipate heat. Any part not against the motor may be containing heat. Another great video sir!

Yeah I actually got it to clip on all the way once I took a bit more time with it. It still messes up the mounting of the body so a little trimming is needed to run a stock body.

I think your idea of lizard and the throttle curve it has might actually be ideal. I got to run mine today. When I put in the esc/receiver I thought it took out the motor too like it did the steering servo but it turned out to be the dual rate on the radio was off. I don't have a Ford, where did you get that body and is it for scx24 as well?

What I also like about them is my tires are not really flat on the bottom like them a little flat but not like flat . We ran the trx bronco and the gatekeeper after everything else decided we are done lol so I really have only run them once so I guess maybe I won't like them later

It is a 130 size motor not a 180 size motor in the FCX24 vehicles.

Probably not absolutely needed. Especially if crawling with it. Won’t hurt if spinning the wheels a lot with a monster truck or something like that.

Not sure really. I haven’t used any body extensions. You could always shim underneath the stock mounts I’d say and use a longer screw to raise the body some.

Admittedly my dumb arse didn't realise I could adjust the travel points on the 2 speed and the travel from what I understand so my dumb arse may just need to do that.... But again the gears are pretty well the same so I shouldn't need to -_-"

Hey dude, I love your videos. I am wondering if you have had the speed motor for the fms smasher overheating problem. I picked up a smasher v2 along with all the upgrades. I am having trouble with heat problems. I installed the speed motor after a week of running the stock setup. Within a minute, the motor was so hot even with the heat-sink on the motor that I was unable to touch the motor. I never got to full throtle with it. Then I noticed the esc was getting hot as well, and I believe the esc is going into a heat protection shutdown. The only way to restart it is to unplug the battery and replug. I also tried running the motor out of the transmission and still running into the same problem. I have messaged fms about the problem, and they have not responded. Any help from the micro master would be very much appreciated.

I really appreciated it! No I definitely haven’t had that issue. I actually run the speed motor without the Heatsink all the time. It’s gotta be an issue with that more imo. Sorry to hear it man.

I was thinking it could be the motor as well. It seems like a really coggy motor when spinning it by hand. I also checked to make sure the pinion wasn't pushed down against the motor bushing. Maybe there is a problem with the windings in it.

@2FM RC I figured it out. I removed the motor and figured out that the transmission was really hard to turn by hand. The transmission case is too tight on the center gear. My center gear sits a little bit higher than the top two speed gear. I will try to make room in there one day. For now, I loosened every screw on the transmission case. 3/4 turn on the transmission case itself and the pinion/spur gear cover and the skid plate mounting screws. Now, it is really easy to turn. Next, I installed the speed motor on the transmission case again and in the first 20 seconds of driving and the first reverse to forward wheelie attempt the esc cut out. Then I changed the settings to forward,brake,reverse mode, and the heat is completely gone and no longer cuts out.
