Like what you did with the battery tray putting it all under, this jet should be good with 5000mah now, makes me want one.

That nose gear failure is exactly why I never take A.R.F. models at "face value" !! Every fastener is removed than reinstalled securely. Nice flight.

I usually disassemble the entire airplane also. I always work the hinges in until they're loose. Also the push rod friction is sometimes extreme. I'll add graphite to help the unwanted friction. No reason to overwork those servos. Check to make sure the motor is tight. Everything. I always find something. Better on the ground, than in the air.

It does have a motor sound all its own. From seeing, maidening, & hearing others, Rafale is, well, unique 🤪!

A little late to the party (me) but I'm in the lookout for this sharp looking Rafale, but I've also the Freewing F-22 Raptor High Performance 6S 90mm. I notice this might be in your background. Nonetheless, this Rafale, is nice. I wonder if a 90mm version is on the Horizon.
@fern6978 Жыл бұрын
Definitely... I've been begging Freewing/Motion for a big 90mm single Rafale for years... I think they'll come through for us eventually 😁

Good review!! I will eventually get one but too busy on other stuff... I make burners foe them though!! 😜😜😜They pay attention to detail at FMS!! Also they call them flaps but its actually Crow... not the same... and also the 2100kv fms set ups take a bit to come to life. Mine have taken no less than 10 flights before they reach full potential...whats with the nose gear?? 😂😂😂

What 4000mah lipo would you consider
@fern69786 ай бұрын
I really like the HRB 4000 packs for standard voltage usage for the money. SMC HV packs definitely give more power, but pull more amps.
@MichelleSmith-ce2qm6 ай бұрын
Ok hrb pack sounds good what would you consider for c rating 35c or up to 50c
@fern69786 ай бұрын
@MichelleSmith-ce2qm For small mAh packs with higher draw EDF applications you'll want as much c rating as possible so 60-100c on 4000s.
@MichelleSmith-ce2qm6 ай бұрын
Thank you im new to this so thank for your help i will get HRB 4000mah 60c

What was your spectrum radio setup was it elevon or elevon b I crashed my first one since fms doesn't give you radio setup and that was a expensive mistake

After seeing, watching & talking to several ppl here on KZbin, flaps are supposed to be used only/mainly as speed brakes (crow). Nice to have, BUT my field is grass. Oh, & it handles great on UNmanicured grass, much to MY amazement!

That paint scheme is a major turnoff for me. If I do get one in the future the first thing is a repaint. When I buy a war-bird I want it to be a front-line fighter, not some airshow aircraft.
@fern69783 жыл бұрын
Hell yeah, can't go wrong with the military schemes.
@old-rcplane-phart2 жыл бұрын
Different strokes for diff'rent folks. I like it. Armament is useless, IMHO. Because, no non-military person is getting missles. 🤷
