I subscribed to your channel because I can tell you have a lot of patience and your not shy about showing us your unfortunate crashes and I think that's noble of you. I've been in this hobby for many years and I still feel like an amateur because technology keeps improving but I'm getting older so I feel like everything is new to me hahaha , 😅 I enjoy your channel please try to keep it real and fresh ..

Rafael, thanks for the support, I really do appreciate it, and keeping it real is what I am about. I too have been flying for close to a decade, and I hear my friend joke about how I am a pro to other club members but I do too definitely still feel like an armature pilot. But I absolutely love this hobby and feel like I learn something every time I fly. Enjoy and thanks again!

2 blade props are more efficient than 3 and that's a fact of physics LOL - - when swapping from a 2 to 3 blades - that I tend to do when ever I can - I use the simple rule - it does have good maths behind it.. but made simple - If going from a 2 to a 3 blade prop you need to decrease the prop size by a total of 1" - so if going from a 3 to a 2 you need to need to DROP the size by 1" - doing anything else (including pitch change) will mean your motor/power system has to work harder. Enjoyed the video - LOL - the chat between you both we great - Thanks.

i used to use APC props but have found the the master air screw props to be much more efficient with better pulling power.

James, thanks for the suggestion. This was suggested by another sub as well, and I have already gone ahead and bought a set. Great looking props!

What I notice right away that with the 2 blade it’s not as fast and also the 3 blade sounds better. IMO I would run the 3 bladed prop and just get a spare one. I was thinking of buying one of these. That is a big reason I watch you unboxing and then looked for you flying it. I really wanted to the difference in the prop changing. I would be running into the same issue as far as the grass. Thnx for the video. Happy flying!

@@RCPlaneAddict Manny, I just watched this video again, and I was not sure what ESC type connector is on this plane? I have 8 Specktrum 4S 3200mAh 50C G2’s with the IC3 connector’s. So my question is do I have to a adapter for my battery’s? Also I own the NX Transmitter’s NX8 and NX6 and I have the RealFlight 9.5S and I was wondering if you use the software with USB CABLE or the UBS dongle? I have trouble every time I’m using the dongle I have to recalibrate the controller, it never seems to work right. Gear don’t work on planes that have them, and always you my A switch for that function. Manny, Thank you in advance!

Richard, first, the plane has a EC5 in it, so you can find the adapter on Amazon to what you need. I am using a EC5 to an XT90. When on my sim I use the USB to the micro USB into my TX. I do not use a dongle. Simple is best. Hope this helps.

i Velcro my battery checker right to the back side of my Transmitter so i always have it with me when im next to the plane.

Hey thanks for checking out the vid. Good fun, terrible gear. It is a good learning experience though.

Please try the MAS electric only prop it's so much better than the APC prop that your using, once you'll try it you will definitely see the difference.

Did you do a video on installing flaps on this t28

Todd, thanks for the support. I did not do a video on just the faps. Did you have a question about the rates, or travel speed?

No worries, its probably because I froze my retracts. I'm waiting for them to break again so I can 3D print a fix.

nice Flying. You are complaining about grass field, I have a dirt field it's very hard to take off land also, I also have a T-28 huff and puff silver, I do not fly as good as you do, I have the same problem with the front landing gear always likes to bend back just like yours, so I do not feel that bad now! I just bought a new upgrade electric motor for my t-28 airplane but I'm having a hard time installing, don't seem to find the right motor mount for it! Wonder if you could help me out?

Pedro, thanks for checking out my vid. It really is a shame about the gear because the plane is such an amazing flier. I really do hope that one day FMS will address this. Till then happy flying.

What size of 6s do you recommend flying on ?
@RCPlaneAddict3 жыл бұрын
Hello Onapproach, thanks for checking out my vid. My good friend flies his on a 4000mah 6s. A word of caution, to make the battery fit he cut out nearly all on the foam inside the canopy, then use guerilla tape to secure the pilot. I took a lot of foam out myself to make my 4000mah 4s fit too.
