FN 502 Tactical Pistol Review

I have ordered this gun online yesterday through PayPal with no taxes or shipping and I have already paid the tax stamp for the dead air mask suppressor and paid for it as well. I have stocked up 1200rds of CCI standard velocity for shooting with suppressor and 2500 rounds of CCI High Velocity as well. Loved this video,very entertaining and wished that you had mentioned that this gun has a bull barrel that helps with the accuracy. It feild strips down the same as the Sig P320 series but not as the Sig Mosquito 22 which in my opinion makes the FN 502 better than most and why I chose this over the Sig P322 and it also weighs 7 1/2 oz more than the Sig P322. I also have ordered a Apex SS guide rod to replace the factory plastic one and I ordered the Sig P250 22 recoil spring to replace the factory one in the FN 502 that will improve the slide action. Again I love this video and it's one of my favorites... Great job and can hardly wait to pick up mine up at my gun store.👍😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I had one issue...the plate on top that you remove when mounting a Red Dot,after 50rds or so the two screws kept getting lose,I eventually placed Loctite on them and no longer having this issue...Everything else is doing great... great accuracy at long distances,the grip texture gives you a solid confident grip,easy field stripping and cleaning... I winded up Not going through Pay-Pal and ordered it through another Company and love shooting this handgun,still waiting for ATF to release the Dead Air for me to pick up 😤Ugh!... I also have the Tippmann AR M-4 Tactical Elite 22... Lots of fun with it and the FN 502 Together...👍😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

This was my very first gun ever. The gun would stick during shooting it past the lock requiring a tap to send it forward. I sent it back and they could not repair it. They sent me a new one and it does exactly the same thing. It is currently heading back. Also the barrel moved quite a bit making accuracy impossible.

When you consider it comes with a threaded barrel, optics cut and raised sights it's pretty reasonable

It checks all the boxes especially if you are suppressing this is why I went with this one over the Taurus and Mark IV's.

Well now this is a interesting video and a very interesting firearm. I bought the FN 502 tactical in FDE when it very first came available and I am glad that I did. I do enjoy shooting it but the thing I don't like the most about the FN 502 is the trigger. The trigger is light enough but the reset is just horrible. Two things that I think FN could have done a better job on One is the trigger and the other is higher capacity magazine.

Update: I purchased the FN 502 and slapped a Dead Air Mask can on the end of it and couldn’t be happier. Beautiful Gun 😊

Do you think a stainless guide rod would help with the weak spring for putting the pistol all the way into batterie ?

Apparently FN assumes that you will not use the iron sights, because they are cheap and too easy to knock out of adjustment. They are more like something you would find on a bb gun.

TCP the mag release for left freaks I don’t like that it should give you an option which side we wanted and is there anything we can do to eliminate the mag release just on the side we wanted

It's a range toy. I can get maybe 100 rounds through mine before it starts to totally lock up before cleaning it again. Maybe some of that super clean suppressor ammo would work better. Same as every other Umarex 22. Any kind of competition or hunting etc. go for the buckmark or ruger.

@@howardkahn4330 pretty much everything, mini mags, Remi Golden Bullet, some American Eagle suppressor ammo, have cleaned and polished everything. Supressed and unsupressed. If it doesn't run minimags it won't run anything.

This is a disappointing pistol. The open sights are cheap. I've seen one with about 100 rounds through it and the upper slide sticks to the rear. Something was binding in it. Certainly not worth $500. I thought FN was a good name. Why would they have something like this made?
