I still have a lingering question. If Glitchtrap was a branch of the mimic in help wanted 2, was he still a branch if the code in the first help wanted? Other than that, everything seems to make sense a lot better.

I assumed that, if we are Cassie's Dad inside the Help Bot in Ruin, he had no control over giving her the VANNI Mask since he's now a robot enslaved by his programming/Glitchtrap. Which adds another element of tragedy to the whole thing. Someone before me also suggested he gave her the mask as a means of defending herself which she does several times in Ruin.

From the story telling already exhibited in the franchise, I'm more inclined to believe that we are playing as Cassies dad. Him giving her the mask in the end is a great foil to Willy creating what killed his daughter. Plus we know most of the pizzaplex staff was killed and it's likely they were turned into staff bots which are more complicit than regular human workers. If the workers HAD to wear Vanny/i masks then their consciousnesses were already being infected and uploaded. If glitchtrap is controlling or had control over the animatronics, then Cassies dad would not have the agency to stop himself from giving her the mask.

@@qcertified2332 I think Cassie was knocked out when the elevator ending happened and then she got put into a false reality. Cassie is alive and she's in the Pizza Place that burned down to the ground.

@@TheSuperSnake313 i think these endings are really interesting because compared to ruin and SB these feel more plausible that they could both have have happened. I want them to both be true though. I think that cassies dad was put into the vanny system and thus because a staff bot, but he eventually becomes sentient and helps vanny defeat glitchtrap but she leaves him behind. I dont have any proof but until it gets fully debunked I want to believe it.

Help wanted 2 happens before ruin. One of Shattered Roxy’s lines is geared towards looking for Gregory. If Shattered Roxy is now helping Cassie, possibly not even in the pizza plex, why would she be back where we left her in ruin, looking for Gregory.

@@Brandon-jf9cv it could very well be that the Mimic is behind this, but why would this stuff still exist if the mimic was still down there. My main problem with HW2 happening after Ruin is that a small part of MIXES still exists. Cassie shut it down in ruin and that poor blue rabbit didn’t have the look of “well I’m being shut down but at least I have a back up” to me. This could explain the little we see of Glitchtrap as well. MIXES is suppressing it. When we shut it down and play princess quest 4 we finally see glitchtrap again with Vanessa.

There are also some hints that suggest this being just before Ruin. 1)We give Shattered Roxy her mask she has in Ruin 2)We see Ruin Sun and Moon, which means that the Daycare Attendent has not become Eclipse 3)If the Mask Bot ending is happening in real time then of course HW2 happens just before/during the start of Ruin

2:50 I don’t think it being known that you are the only human employee makes it so you can’t be playing as Cassie’s Dad. The evidence just leans more in the fact that we are playing as the dad instead of Cassie, like you can’t just mention something like that from this blog page and then just hand wave the hidden Bonnie mask in the actual game. If we were playing as Cassie wouldn’t they put something else in that chest? I know the fnaf lore is supposed to be needlessly complicated and confusing but it just feels like Steel Wool is guiding us more towards Cassie’s dad and as little as we know about this character, he was never confirmed dead at any point either.

There are a couple voice lines in this game hinting at the fact the we are special for some reason, that we look like we have kids, some of the animatronics say we look like a techie, and they of course the bonnie mask seeming familiar. So we’d have to be an adult. Also this game seems like a prequel to ruin as those MIXES towers are still active, most of the animatronics are not ruined yet (except Roxy, but it does explain why her design was different in ruin), and we get shown that cassie gets the mask in ruin. Besides cassie is much further underground at the end of ruin and never once saw the fnaf 6 location. She might be closer to the underground bunker than to that pizzeria. I can’t explain anything about the endings though, because I don’t do theory’s. I want to see what John, Rye, and Matt think of these events.

I think we play as Cassie's dad before Ruin, and that this is the process that every worker experienced before dying, but then Cassie's dad found a way out of it, and the normal ending would be how the simulation would have ended, like how the normal ending in Help Wanted 1 is the ending to the VR game Vanessa is playing. So the normal Help Wanted 2 is the ending of the simulation, like how Pizza Party is the end of the VR game, but Cassie's dad found a way out of it, and played Princess Quest IV by getting all the memories, like how Vanessa got all the tapes and found the secrets.

love the theory and i think it applies to her dad.. her dad is missing not just dead.. not confirmed dead just gone.. and an important fact is that it says employee.. a child cannot be an employee.. i believe that help wanted2 is before ruin. this is what is happening to her dad and it happened before ruin then ruin is cassie very shortly after. we can be an adult and sun call us a kid referring to our inner child and love of bonnie and the princess quest. i believe that he did do this to his daughter but it was unintentional and he didn't know. this proves that her dad was also on the ARVR Vanny system to even do any of this meaning he doesn't know the difference between reality and the vr world and just like in ruin where things are mixing in the world and it's very much a possibility that he had no idea what he was doing until it's too late. she says her dad was an employee and if hw2 takes places before ruin it could be confirming that her dad was the last human employee. cassie is never a real employee and only can access anything because of the mask but was never truly added to the system like everyone else was. I also believe that her dads consciousness in the system could be the blue mxes bunny security system thing, it never hurts cassie it only jump scares her and never seems really aggressive or violent. this is just my theory and is still being flushed out.

Did anyone notice that the minigame where we are given orders to make drinks and we can see staff bots working on the ingredients and we can decide to speed them up or take breaks has the exact room as one of the rooms in Security Breach where we get a Security pass. And in this specific room in Secuirty Breach, there is a puppet plush however in the HW2 minigame, its a nightmarionne plush instead.

3:57 - what about Roxanne mask amd a sword in stone in Ruin? I think HW2 is before Ruin and we play as Vanessa who is trying to get rid of or trick Mimic

I think the first story of Candy Cadet means no character of Scott Cawthon games survived in Steel Wool games. We had William Saga, currently we have Mimic Saga, that's it. The second story of Candy Cadet tells the same thing you said about Vanny ending: naive Vannesa got controlled by Glitchtrap, freed Vannesa experienced and all with the help of Gregory took revenge on Glitchtrap by destroying it entierly and imprisoned Mimic more with MXES. Mimic got its meal anyway - Cassie.

This is my take on the irl reasons Ruin and HW2 were released; if anyone's interested. It seems to me that in the development of Security Breach they had to downsize the game in a way to where they took out certain parts of the game. Like mini games (Bonnie Bowl, El Chips Restaurant, the Foxy attraction, etc.) Then with the release of SB they might not have been happy with the seemingly canon ending of Burntrap and afton coming back. So to kind of put a band-aid on it they made and released Ruin, connecting to a new antagonist, The Mimic. Then with HW2 they put in any coding or extra ideas that were meant for SB sections and minigames. To tie up loose ends they destroy Glitchtrap leaving the only part of that AI in The Mimic since the pizza plex is destroyed and they can go forward with The Mimic as the main antagonist in the future. It's not perfect, there being probably Roxy and Freddy head with some ai that could be connected to glitchtrap somehow, but u think the vanny crushing Glitchtrap ending is showing that threat is now gone. Anyway that's what I think is a realistic take on why and how we got these two great games/add-ons after SB.

I don’t think it makes sense for Help Wanted 2 to take place before Ruin. For starters why would somebody be in the Ruined Pizza Plex for all that time with the mask? Why would Candy Cadet’s story explain what happened to Cassie and Vanessa if it didn’t already happen? How would the person know that we have to shut down MXES in order to take off the mask? Why are Ruined Monty and Ruined Freddy missing? I also don’t think it is Cassie’s dad that we are playing as because how would he be the one to get a hold of the Vanny mask and if he is the Bonnie mask kid from the bite of 83 why would he say “this looks familiar” when we find his mask? He should say something like “I forgot about this” ,”memories”, or “my old mask…”. Based on this my theory is that we are playing as an older Cassie. Candy Cadet even says this when he describes Cassie’s story by saying “when she was younger” and “as the girl grew”. Notice how the game starts. We have the mask on so that means we are in the AR world. Cassie is using it to gain information on how to tend to the animatronics down there with her. When we are helping with Glam Freddy he says that we are a technician so it is possible that the file she is going through and observing at that point was her father. As she gets further information she realizes there’s a dark past surrounding the pizza plex. When we are able to do tasks without the mask on it is her using that knowledge learned to befriend,help, and take care of the animatronics with her in the ruins. The ending when she collects the action toys is symbolic to her piecing together what happened to the kids in the past and who she is really serving. When she sees Glitchtrap he is in a power chamber symbolizing that he is the ultimate power the source powering everything. Notice how there are 5 robots symbolizing the original 5 missing children. Glitchtrap shows her that he was behind everything from the start giving her the mask from the start evident in the mask bot having ears just like William’s iconic suit. With the Vanny ending I think it’s symbolizing the passing of the torch. Vanny is no longer controlled by Glitchtrap evident in her destroying him. But Cassie is still trapped to be a like a toy for Glitchtrap to use waiting to be picked up. We see moon because it symbolizes how the sun has set on Cassie’s free will. We see as she teleports into princess quest we see the original princess’ (Vanessa) quest incomplete and it is up to Cassie to continue on the dark path. This sets up Cassie to be the main antagonist going forward in the future games. That’s why it’s called Help Wanted 2 because Glitchtrap needs her help to be the next vessel. Baby was the first Vessel for Afton so that’s why she doesn’t kill Cassie when we meet her all she wants to do is play like she has a new “sister”. Also Baby says “I feel bad for you” because she knows what gruesome tasks Cassie will have to do in the future.

Watching this a second time helps grasp the timing of HW2. If we are playing as Cassie, then yeah of course this has to be after Ruin. She wouldn't have gone down to the Pizza Place, then came back in Ruin and need Gregory's help to get down to the Pizza Plex for the first time

I've watched just about every theory that's come out so far and haven't yet heard anyone's take on her significance to the story, and she HAS to be significant or they wouldn't have shoved her plushes into every other minigame 😵‍💫

I find this a bit amusing, because of a certain little headcanon. See, everyone likes to represent Moon as the more 'evil' one, the one infected by Mimic001 while Sun isn't. But I see it the opposite. I see Moon trying to stop a roaming threat, someone infected by the Mimic. Sun is trying to keep us in place until we can be taken away and properly reintegrated. With the character shown helping Vanny as Moon, it's a little more hint towards him actually being the 'better' half.

I don't speak english well. But I think that HW 2 takes place after SB But before Ruin. Cause when we take mask off we seems to be in reallity (real reallity). And what happens without mask happens in reallity. So Roxy says "I need to think where could he (Gregory) be hidding" "give me that mask and get out!". That means it after SB but before Ruin. And Cassie meets Roxy only in Ruin. They know each other. So would Roxy be so rude with her? Can't say for sure, but it probably can be Vanessa or the new character the one we play in HW2.

Nope, what is truly going is that, is there ai that thinks is a real kid, she is the one set up happiest day, but only at that moment she found there no afterlife for her, so she trapped others and created a faked afterlife for all them, digital ghost virtual world to continue play with all them, she takes form Vanny (Nightmarionne), so everyone is back to life

I believe we are playing as another note worthy human. Because plush baby says "you thought I wouldn't recognize you" which is weird. I really think it may be just a random human that using the Vanny Mask got his conciousness trapped (the claw machine ending resembles the books with the Freddie toys Alex messed around) and we'll becoming a staff bot. Now from a Narrative perspective. This creates many holes... Candy cadet not being where it's supposed to be in ruin speaks of a Pre-ruin timeline, but also can mean that Cassey at the end of ruin will also be claimed

To be honest, I have 2 theories for Cassie's dad: 1) we are playing as him in help wanted 2, makes sense because we are in between ruin and sb (as shown by us giving roxy her mask, no eclipse, etc) 2) Cassie's dad was Jeremy from help wanted, explains how he died

Gonna love how HyperDroid forgets that Vanny mask (V.a.n.n.i) are for TECHNICIANS only and yet he insist that we plays as Cassie in Help Wanted 2 instead of her dad just because "ShE GoT VaNnY MaSk" If it's really is her why the hell she says "this look familiar" to Bonnie mask if she knows her dad loves Bonnie and know what Bonnie is? That doesn't make any sense. It's like you're saying "this look familiar" to Freddy animatronic meanwhile you knows who freddy is. "this look familiar" is something that you say when you feels like you have seen/remembers it before (AKA you picked up your own childhood toys, didn't remember them at first but yet you feels you have seen it before)

Haven’t yet watched the video but here’s my thoughts. I’ll probably make an edit after watching it I believe we play as Cassy’s Dad but instead we actually play in the digital memories of this character as they’re trapped within Mask Bot. Yeah they aren’t actually playing this, but the distorted memories this character had. Showing that this character has been in Fnaf 4, Sister Location, Pizza Sim, and Security Breach. Why did I include Fnaf 4? Well within the secret ending of the Bonnie Mask, possibly revealing that he’s the Bonnie Bro in Fnaf 4. Okay, as I was typing this, I watched the video as well. Personally, I disagree in some parts but I understand the evidence you gave, especially the missing employees, it’s a good video. And I like the symbolism of Vanny jumping into Cassy instead that you proposed. Good vid, and I enjoyed hearing someone else’s take!

At first I thought the third ending would be the last minigame in fazcade section. But then realised that I missed in someone's playthrough that this is actually a requirement for ending 2. Probably datamining the game might reveal some content. But as far as we know, there are only 2 endings.

The concept of the Mimic and Glitchtrap being the same code while appearing differently is actually pretty easy to grasp. Imagine you have two computers. You load them both up with Windows 11. One computer you leave on and do nothing with. The other one you use daily and customize to your liking. That's the relationship between Mimic and Glitchtrap. They both run on the same code, but look different from each other thanks to environmental factors.

I was always wondering why they didn’t show his full form in game and only showed his hand, and that’s probably because he’s too weak to fully manifest after his defeat in princess quest 3. Honestly im unsure who we are playing as in help wanted 2 every option has flaws for example if it takes place before ruin but after security breach and the "earthquake" (which it probably is) there would be NO reason for cassie to be in the building for cassie's dad why would moon, baby, mystic hippo (and possibly more) say "what makes you so special?" I don't see the point in them saying that if it was cassie's dad Vanessa has even more disproving her there's the secret ending with Vanny and also I don't see the point in Vanessa going to the building after they "stopped" the glitchtrap virus and if cannon defeated Burntrap since whatever ending(s) are canon would be before the "earthquake" and help wanted 2 takes place around after the "earthquake" so honestly im not sure.

Hey I actually have a little theory about Moondrop in HW2, so to start Moondrop apears in HW2 many times, in daycare(obviously), carasell(I’ll come back to that), focus pirate ride, and then In one of the endings. But in severity breach when Moondrop takes GR Freddy and waves at Gregory (i think he waves) it’s like he’s being TOLD to do that, plus he’s the only animatronic that didn’t normally attack anyone besides Gregory, so I feel like maybe he was given orders to do that by maybe Vanny or Glitchtrap. In the foxy ride there is another version of Moondrop that is in the glitchy part of the ride when you shoot Helpy. You make some interesting arguments but I'm still more inclined to believe we're playing as Cassie's dad. The repeated line of "What makes you so special?" seems to be implying that we're someone who isn't already an established character in the franchise. I think you're too quick to discount her father as already being dead. Perhaps "What makes you so special?" is to help us consider that perhaps Cassie's dad is the one employee who wasn't killed. Plus timeline-wise yes modern FNAF has been mostly chronological but considering we see trash compactor Chica and not gooey Ruin Chica, as well as Roxy receiving her Ruin mask implies that this game's events take place BEFORE Ruin. So the helptrap ending isn't a flashback, but a flash-forward. And parallels Candy Cadet's story where the woman gets trapped in the oven. Cassie's consciousness is trapped in the glitchtrap/mimic system and he can only stand by and watch as his daughter falls victim to the same fate as she takes the mask. He didn't actively want to give it to her, but he's no longer in control. Edit: Also just realized while re-watching footage that at the start of the Fizzy Faz minigame the STAFF bot says "On file signature accepted" which means it definitely had to have been an employee at some point. I think Cassie's dad may have been the employee from the "Exit Interview" message from SB who was trying to complete Princess Quest. He was fired before all the employees were killed but still had knowledge of the Pizzaplex and what happened which was how we was able to get back in.

For a while we believed that the cannon ending in Security Breach was Princess Quest and that’s possible that is the right ending , but I listen to the sound track for Security Breach cause I like gaming music, anyways. They had ‘ Burntrap ‘ as part of the Soundtrack and It hit me. What if that’s the cannon one? In Pizza Simulator Scraptrap got destroyed due to the fire along side everyone else, but they recovered a chip from Scraptrap’s suit and added it to Security Breach. Data being transferred over which is part of Afton’s data, Afton’s spirit like a Horcrux item from Harry Potter. Part of his soul in the data and now was part of Security Breach. While I really don't know why everyone thinks we're playing as Cassie's dad (I know that, from a storytelling point, it would make sense, but when has FNaF consistently made sense from a storytelling point?), the Bonnie mask we can find does say we're playing as someone who finds it familiar. Cassie ain't the one who says that I believe, although she does find one a those masks herself as an AR item, and the one character that seems to point to that particular object... is one of Michael Afton's old friends. The ones that had a hand alongside him in causing that accident. So, maybe that's who he is. Besides, I assume there's plenty more V.A.N.N.I. masks. It'd be silly to assume Cassie has the only one. Besides, while I know we're playing simulations, well... We still play a minigame where we give Shattered Roxy the mask she'd have in Ruin, so... yeah.

part of the cassie's dad theory includes that they suspect that Cassie's Dad is the Bonnie Bully, which is why the Bonnie mask is familiar. Cassie's Dad is called out as being a technician, and therefore someone that not only uses a Fazwrench, but if even a little of what Helpi says in Ruin is true, would also be using the Vanni mask as part of his job at least near the end. We know that, by Security Breach, Vannessa is the only human employee at night, but also that the day staff are also being fired at a pretty fast pace. If Cassie's Dad is fired, and not killed, he could come back after Vanessa is freed of Glitchtrap. My head canon is that Cassie's Dad is also the Arcade Conspiracy guy from the dufflebag messages. It results in him being fired before the all staff meeting (thus avoiding his untimely demise), and he may end up helping Vanessa and Gregory to set up MXES, lock up the Mimic, etc. At some point during that process, he may get stuck in the AR world too long resulting in his memories being scrambled. The 'bad end' he ends up helping Glitchtrap/Mimic/Helpi to get the mask to Cassie. In the 'good end' he remembers why he's in there (remembering the MCI and Charlotte Emily, the people that died because of William Afton's reaction to what occurred to the Crying Child) allowing him to complete his task of destroying the last of Glitchtrap.

I’m sorry but there is a lot of evidence for this theory. In the files of help wanted 2, in the maskbot ending where we give the mask to Cassie, it is labeled helptrap. This means that the mask bot in ruin is controlled by glitch trap and gave the mask. Helpi is the mimic because it recreated Cassie’s voice. That means Helpi is the mimic. And if the mask still has glitch trap. Then Glitch trap is Helpi. And if Glitch trap is Helpi, then Glitch trap is most likely the mimic 1 program. I know you love William Afton but it you have to let go of the past and welcome arms the mimic. Even though William Afton started it all, he had his conclusion in 6, and the Glitch trap mimic virus is continuing his legacy. Also the Mimic endo that’s trapped in Ruin, and the glitch trap mimic virus are two different things. They both run the same Mimic 1 code, but they mimic different things. The Mimic in ruin is basically mimicking Gregory, while Glitch trap in the Vanny mask wants to become William Afton and wants a new Vanny it can control with the mask. It wants that new Vanny to free the Mimic from its prison so it can control it once again just like when it was Burntrap.

I also think the amalgamation can still happen but it won’t be known as the Afton amalgamation, but the mimic amalgamation. I think what’s gonna happen is Cassie under glitch traps control would put its code into the mimic controlling it again. Then during the final fight, the Tangle absorbs the mimic controlled by glitch trap but glitch trap would then take over the Tangle becoming the mimic amalgamation, pretty cool if that would happen.

To me, all of this is pointing to Vanessa. Candy Cadet's first story is literally an advertisement, meant to lead us off the trail. Candy Cadet's second story is all about someone lured and tricked by a witch, who barely escaped, then later with experience and knowledge, came back for revenge. - To me this reads as Vanessa being tricked in Help Wanted by Glitchtrap, then returning in Help Wanted 2 to take vengeance and finish the job. - This would make the Helptrap ending canon in my mind, as Glitchtrap manages to trick Vanessa again, possibly achieving its ultimate goal in the process. The oven. - Vanessa is consumed, but possesses the Mask Bot to give the Vanny mask to Cassie. This could either be the influence of Glitchtrap trying to gain a new reluctant follower, or Vanessa handing the powerful mask on as she no longer has the strength to fight Glitchtrap. Gaining the cursed secret plushies gives the achievement "Remember Jeremy". Only Vanessa knows of Jeremy, the Help Wanted beta tester. Both endings are about Glitchtrap, a villain that is most important to Vanessa. One ending is literally about Vanessa, Vanny and Glitchtrap. - The Princess Quest ending confirms to me that Vanessa sees Vanny, her infected self, as a separate entity. During the time of Security Breach and afterwards, Vanessa IS the only human employee at the Pizzaplex. During the game, multiple characters say the phrase "What makes you so special?". Is this Glitchtrap trying to cut off loose ends and replace Vanessa? I believe this game is set in the period of time between Security Breach and Ruin. So many of the minigames are all about giving us context to other events. Think about Ruined Roxy's mask and the reveal of Ruined Music Man. None of these games push into the future. Personally I want this to be the case. It gives the opportunity to re-establish Vanessa as an active player in the story, reinforce the importance of Glitchtrap, possibly re-establish Vanny as a threat based on the ending chosen, and at the same time keep the momentum built by Ruin.

The line "This seems familiar" works for Vanessa, as she obtained her Vanny mask in Curse of Dreadbear under very similar circumstances. We do not see the protagonist put on or wear this mask. It does not appear anywhere outside this Easter Egg. This makes me think that this mask will not be Vanessa's, even if she's the one who found it in this game.

A few points: 1) Why does MXES work against Cassie and tries to stop her from disabling security if he's part of the Mimic? Shouldn't he be glad that his main program is being released? 2) Speaking of symbolism... The hand coming out of that charging station is very much a living grown-up human hand, possibly a female one, actually, because it's pretty thin and fine, and the nightmare bots being there feels like a callback to the good old SB when people used to think they were being controlled by Vanny... 3) What about the GGY achievement? Is it just a reference (getting a high score) or is Steel Wool actually trying to tell us something? 4) Nightmarionne might actually be important, if you consider whatever that Puppet thing is with collecting the plushes (it's like the Happiest day all over again, but why though, and why now??)

1) MXES isn’t the Mimic, his whole purpose is to keep him trapped 2) That hand is Glitchtrap, not a human, the lighting makes it look like a human hand but you can see right before it hits the light it’s a yellow hand with stitching. 3) With Steel Wool’s Fnaf it’s a little hard to tell what’s a coincidence and what’s not. 4) that’s not a puppet, that’s also glitchtrap’s hand

I like the idea of William actually being dead and that burn trap isn’t a variant of spring trap or scrap trap. Him saying that was my favorite part of the video cause I’ve been a long time supporter of that theory but couldn’t find enough evidence. HW 2 is easily a top 5 FNaF game

I personally believe the ending they went with from ruin was the "Brazil ending" because it's the most disturbing one. Like she's running but she's not sure if Gregory's *really* Gregory so she makes some wrong turns and in the end ends up at a dead end and from sheer panic puts on the mask accepting her fate. Plus we didn't think they'd go with the princess quest ending, but here we are, lol.

Monty had claws previously, but after Bonnie got destroyed, newer and BETTER claws were installed onto Monty
