I suppose they might have nerfed them for normal mode since most fnf videos I watch are on hard mode. Also, they should be instant kills if they aren’t already considering how by not closing the door, you’re allowing an angry animatronic into your room which canonically (in FNAF) results in instant, unavoidable death just like it logically would irl

I really think you'd enjoy another fnaf mod known as Vs. Ourple Guy. The songs are amazing, the art is cool, and it has a lot of references; some you might know. There's also a song with you in there, Matt! There are the three main story mode songs, and then the rest are in freeplay. Once you complete ALL the songs, including the ones in Freeplay, a extra song is unlocked. I wont spoil anything, but i will say it has to do with Dayshift At Freddy's, more specifically the third game. Enjoy, and good day/night!

Golden Freddy would have been a perfect Starecrown opportunity. Boyfriend starts out singing sure enough, but then Golden joins right in; if his turns were just empty until half way through, it would have been a shock when he suddenly stood up with 50 seconds left. Looking it up, extended range Bass guitars can have four, five, or six strings, so that's plausible.

Wow! This mod! It's great! ...Except for where it's not. The idea of the new mechanics, awesome. Their actual implementation though? Rough. Maybe a bit more polishing so it's more of a gradual difficulty curve than a bipolar extremist pendulum swing? And fix a few bugs. You know, iterative improvements to make the world go round. But a clap and a half for a lot of great work!

Other good mods that you should play are Hotline 024 which is in demo but is about 2 hours long and has an arg, Ourple Guy V2 which is a love letter to FNAF Fandom, and Doki Doki Takeover(both original and Bad Ending) which are mods being love letters to the DDLC aspects people fell in love with.

To make this easier for mat when playing a mod on psych engine you can press Ctrl on the Freeplay or week menus to use debug cheats like changing the score multiplier which does help if your new and use left and right keys to change it and up and down keys to see other useful things like botplay if it isn't in the pause menu

Freddy's Song 3 breaks in Story Mode, Chica's Song 3 breaks in Story Mode... no updates in four months, so I don't see those problems going away any time soon. If you're looking for a FNF theory MatPat, try looking at Hotline24. Hotline24 is a fan made FNF mod that is currently only a demo. The demo has 24 imo banging songs that are all decently difficult (yes, it's still a demo). The mod also has some associated ARG stuff to it which might have enough to it for a game theory. It might be be best to wait until the full mod is released before making a game theory on it so you'll have enough to put together the full story of the ARG

Try to experiment with the options and controls of the FNF mods. Perhaps there is a certain scroll speed, button scheme, and scrolling orientation that suits you better 😊 For me, I need the buttons mapped to either DJFK or ASKL, with the Downscroll option. I can't read upscroll to save my life, but downscroll is somehow more intuitive for me.
