I gotta say, the Superstar Daycare and the designs of Sun and Moon *really* sold it for me here. I love how the daycare’s layout brings back the old map layouts from the old games, and not to mention *the jumpscare.* I honestly was flabbergasted with how detailed it looked, and with the movements too. 😅 This just makes more hyped for the Final Cut when it’s released. Keep up the great work, Dono and crew! 🎉❤

Wow! You guys did the Daycare and it’s Attendant justice! I really love how the emission in dark rapidly switches between Sun’s and Moon’s showing the personalities are fighting for control. And that jumpscare, it’s far more dynamic and reminds me of his jumpscare from Help Wanted 2. Speaking of which, I think you guys should add the feature used to deal with him in that game. You could use the flashlight on him to stun him while in the craw space and it could also cause his emission to go haywire as well.

As someone who still LOVED the base games Daycare, this is amazing. Everything feels a lot more real, and the lights in the sky look incredible in the dark. My only complaint however is that I feel like the Daycare Attendant’s emission textures make him less scary. I like the cracked wooden doll look he has in the base game a lot more. Other than that, 10/10.

It’d actually be kinda cool if there could be a hidden sun somewhere in the daycare after getting the 5th generator, because in the normal game, Sun just disappears and pops up to throw us out- so having him hiding somewhere in the daycare, not reachable by Gregory/The player, but viewable on a camera, would make it feel more immersive! bonus if he looks sad or upset because we broke his one rule!

​@@endiecutie06They mean after the lights come on, we don't SEE Sun revert back - you're just allowed to roam the Daycare in the light until Sun shows up to ban you, so it's kind of weird he doesn't pop up anywhere since, by in-universe logic, Moon would have to revert into Sun when the lights came on and be *somewhere* in the Daycare. Personally I assumed he scurried back up to his loft, but he'd have to be awful quick to make it there and back to the front door so fast to ban Gregory lol

An actual working map legend is something I was hoping would be added in a patch to the game, disappointing it wasn't, but I love that this mod actually did fix the broken map that didn't do anything. amazing stuff.

That bit where you turned around to see him jumpscare you into the ballpit got me good. Wasn't expecting him to be able to follow you like in the base game. Also really like the added entry points to the play structures

Hey, the game designer from the SB game design case study here (with more SB and Ruin studies to come). This is very interesting to see. The new Fazwatch is a better system for presence. The light/dark camera system is common in fan games but I don't know if I've ever seen it implemented well, and it's not here either from what I can tell. Seeing the first cool jumpscare in SB is awesome, so kudos for fixing the awful ones, though that jumpscare sting doesn't really fit Moon very well, especially since it was an overused non-diegetic sting in SB, but I understand it's there for legacy purposes. Without the generator cables, most of the gameplay devolves to aimless wandering. I'm guessing you're trying to resolve that through the camera system, assuming the generators are visible via the cameras.

I love how Moon's Jumpscare was reanimated. It looks more Scary and the Slap kinda reminds me of the RUIN Jumpscare which is a lot better at showing his aggression 7:30

Impressive work! Some things I liked: 1. Randomizing generators - Randomization is always nice for replay value and hoping to see more of this feature in other missions. 2.) Security Camera directions - It's nice to see the Ruin cameras return as we can actually see where we're looking at. 3.) Nice Moon Jumpscare!

This is really awesome! While I don't think Security Breach is a game that can truly be fixed with a mod, I think you guys are doing a spectacular job improving the game with what's available. If I'd recommend changing anything about the Daycare, it would be to allow the Daycare Attendant to enter the small staff desk area where the flashlight is. Knowing that there's a safe zone that the player can sit in and be perfectly safe takes away a lot of the fear, because if you're ever in danger, you can just take a breather there and collect your thoughts, making things a lot less scary. If you are worried about the player getting caught at the start before they realize what's going on, you could have the Daycare Attendant only spawn when the player first leaves the zone.

This is entirely a new game. This is exactly the kind of thing that the game was missing and I’m sure Steel Wool would appreciate you guys doing as it really shows the love and devotion to the game itself. Security Breach is one of my all time favorite games just for the environment, colors, art and characters alone- to see it truly be done justice as a passion project by fans is really heartwarming. I think you should keep the glowing wires. Because the fact that it was so hard to find the generators is the reason why people hated the daycare segment.
