A few years ago when this musical was so fresh, my music appreciation class had a project where we had to present our favourite musical to the class, talking about the story, cast, and songs, and show a song from the musical. I chose this for mine. My teacher loved it, I got an A, and he decided to check it out himself after. I still love this, and it's still my favourite musical.

Fun fact on how the musical impacted me for years to come. I worked in a haunted house, and 90% of the actors were dressed as Victorian era girls. The whole thing was that is was a set of twins who murdered their parents. One actor in the house, he was dressed as a teddy bear, and evil one. One of the first nights, I was in the bedroom alone, and started singing Freddy's Song, but switched Freddy with Teddy, as that was our nickname for the actor. It freaked out the actor playing Teddy, as well as the guests who came in
