It has been one year since the events of The Silver Eyes, and Charlie's life is turned upside-down once more. Plagued by nightmares of her long-lost brother, Charlie finds a secret basement in her childhood home, uncovered by a recent storm. Though that might not be the only thing that's been let loose as she and those closest to her find themselves hunted by twisted beasts and a monster whom they all thought was dead, William Afton, now reborn as the retched Springtrap. Will Charlie be able to discover the connections, or will her pursuit of the truth lead to her death?
And who is really pulling the strings?
This is a rewritten plot for The Twisted Ones novel! Redone without an AI voice and new pictures for a better viewing experience. :) Images are taken from the Silver Eyes, Twisted Ones, and Fourth Closet graphic novels, Fnaf, and any other or stock photos were found online.

I actually think tying the Box, the puppet and Sammy all together was a form of brilliance that kinda harks back to the ideas presented in FNAF4 of the idea of the crying child being the puppet, which serves as a really good parallel. And is really clever....... like it's better then Scot constantly changing what's in the box to fuck with people

Thank you! 8D I thought since the Twisted Ones kind of parallels Fnaf 4, it would be neat to bring the box back. Plus, I thought seeing being the door and the reveal at the end would be a nice payoff. ^_^

A very nice, balanced, expanded and provoking rewrite. Loved the little touches here and there and the fact that it wasn’t just the first one with a fresh coat of paint. Everything was improved on all sides! Plus, the attention to detail was amazing, as well as the originality. No one has attempted something quite like this in the fandom, and it was very pleasant to listen to!

I think the idea of Sammy being the Puppet is really cool. At first when you said John pushed over the prop I was like "oh no Charlie was just hallucinating there was no brother". But then the reveal that it was the Puppet the whole time is really cool. I wonder how it would develop in The fourth Closet, if you feel like doing that of course. Also why dose Charlie think the puppet looks like what Sammy whould have looked like I aslo wander why William wanted in that room

I will be doing a Fourth Closet rewrite too! ^_^ Charlie's hallucination in the basement was sort of that, a mix of hallucination and being into contact with the Puppet. I would guess from the pictures we see of him and the fact that he's Charlie's twin that he would look somewhat like her- not identical, but would maybe share similar hair color and traits from their parents. William wanted in that box, but I'll elaborate more in either a follow-up video or perhaps in TFC rewrite. 83

I love how you expanded on the idea of the twisted animatronics being able to show up outside of a pizzeria, in entirely regular settings, relentlessly stalking their target. Makes every moment even more tense and brings doubt to the safety of the protagonists. Reminds me of an actual horror movie ^^ That concept was my favorite part of the original book but I always felt like they could have done more with it, so thank you for emphasizing and applying that concept so well! Especially in the college dorm and the home invasions, just the thought of those scenes gave me chills! Props to you for the great video and spectacular rewrite 👏

On some real shxt, this was exceptional. I know some people would argue hindsight is 20/20, and so rewritten plots are easier, but still. I love how this version is a story, and not like... A scramble to fit stuff in, tie up loose ends, introduce new concepts, like someone trying to hold all their limes in their arms. This is a story, something that would be enjoyable to someone even if they weren't legally bound to read it for lore hunting purposes. There's actually characters, who feel like people, and I like that.

You knocked it out of the ballpark with this! I admittedly haven’t read or listened to any of the actual books but I do feel that this is strong storytelling on its own right. The thriller scenes had me on the edge of my seat, and the imagery depicted classic horror, but nothing over the top, a nice balance. I’ve considered doing my own sort of rewrite of this trilogy some day, with a list of concepts and ideas out the window, although it would be a mostly different story with some aspects kept, but what you did felt like a natural sequel with good set up for a third installment! In any case if anyone cares my personal rewrite of the Fnaf trilogy would be somewhat Jurassic Park Novel inspired, in writing style as well as some themes. The Villains would be(in order of installment), the haunted animatronics(plus William Afton), Circus Baby, Springtrap. I’d include Micheal Afton in the first one as a secondary character who goes on somewhat of a redemption arc, being protective of Charlie, John, and any of their friends(seeing as he’d be significantly older than all of them), in part because of his guilt regarding his brother(because of the bite of ‘83). Charlie being a robot would be a reveal at the end of the first installment, and major plot points for the last 2, being a major part of Charlie’s character arc throughout. I’d get into details about it but I kinda want to keep it vague because this comment is long enough lol

Welp, just like the first (now outdated) vid, great rewrite! Glad you made the characters more human and realistic too, especially with the romance subplot. And the jokes with Carlton are fun (especially 18:05) And that is a pretty nice concept to justify the look of the Twisted Ones(3:27), and it gives an excuse to not consider the illusion discs ever again in the franchise as a whole, which is always a plus. Oh and about the previous community post, I'll be honest, the panels don't look that bad imo, the art is fine. So yeah, dope vid! -Ham Sandwich!

I also liked, that Springtrap showed up more, Charlie was a better protagonist, Twisted Chica existed, and Sammy ended up being the Puppet. I LOVE THIS! If I were to rate the rewrite, I'd give it a 12/10!! After listening to this, it makes me want to rewrite my rewrite! (As I don't think I had enough springtrap encounters). I think you handled springtrap perfectly!! He's super creepy, which is how he should be, unlike in the og book, where he's monologing like a super villain, I think in the og book, they were going for a sort of joker like personality, but they did it in a poor way. When doing my version of springtrap, I have been debating having him talk, as I wanted to make him a bit more feral. But now I'm debating if I should actually have him talk! (Idk :,( ) I also love how Charlie's not an Idiot!! Yayyyy!! And no one really feels like they don't matter, or, could be removed and change nothing. I love the ending!! It isn't super sudden and has a ton of great build-up!! But I loved this rewrite! It pretty similar to your original, but I can notice a few changes. But I love both, overall, a great rewrite!! 8D

This rewrite synopsis was engaging, well thought out, suspenseful, emotional, and just a very satisfying listen/watch. You clearly know what you're doing and I look forward to how _The Fourth Closet_ will turn out once you've worked your magic. And it's worth singling out: the ending reveal of Sammy being the Puppet was chilling and awesome. This sort of weight and creep factor is what the games have been missing.

This honestly feels a lot better than the original book. I like that we’re not doing the whole Charlie robot thing again (I assume) plus it always felt odd to me that we never got to see what was behind the door in the original. I like that you brought the other 3 back just so it feels less weird how they were just dropped. This William feels a bit more like the one in the first book. I do think having him refer to himself as “one of them now” would be a nice reference to the first books line. I have only one problem with this story. Charlie never awkwardly says that she’s been doing sit-ups.

@justice8718
@justice8718 11 ай бұрын
There’s the fucked up part about Save Him. Midnight Motorist is leading up to the Killer murdering his own son in the mini game. Charlie’s death in fnaf6 is a misdirection on the mini game events, but her presence as the puppet will leave her able to “save him” as an animatronic you never once considered possessed before the 1990s (fnaf1 and fnaf3 mini games). Springtrap. Remember, they dealt with this animatronic long before Phone Guy’s death. They trapped him in the walls for his malfunctions and continuously hazardous behaviors. Rather than making trilogy Sammy Emily the “force of good”, he could instead be an older human that despised his fake Twin Sister. That potentially could’ve been the original idea for him in the books, but Scott likely thought it revealed too much of the OG lore. A copycat killer that pretends to be William Afton.

I really love this whole rewriting and actually prefer the story presented here than the story that we actually got. Afton is actually threatening rather than looking like a joke, the characters actually act like believable humans instead of seeming like what a fourty year old man thinks teenagers act like, and it keeps the horror elements instead of replacing it for more of a sci-fi theme, which is more of a personal nit-pick of mine. This is absolutely phenomenal! Do you plan on rewriting The Fourth Closet or any other FNAF books in the future?

Real comment this time, spoilers to those people that immediately read the comments The world building is amazing, bringing in previously important characters, even if they aren't relevant right now, and also giving them a reason to be there really keeps the story consistent. As for Charlie's discovery of the door in her dreams, the use of the FNaF 4 box was amazing and it caught me so off guard and it was nice to see her get closure with Sammy. Not to mention Sammy is the Puppet?! Now this is how to follow up on The Silver Eyes. but still fuck illusion discs

I would've loved to see her clawing back her identity from her father, maybe making some modifications he wouldn't have liked. Changing her eye colour or something. Now I'm curious about robot Sammy. She's probably excited to have her brother back, but also curious. Does she want to know what's under the hood? Would he be angry at that, or just treat it like a sister who always wants to style your hair? Theres so much possibility in here, I love it. I actually love this. I wouldn't have even considered making the puppet Sammy. In my rewrite, Sammy is still relevant, but specifically in my rewrite, I actually put a few Charlie bots behind the door - the previous versions of her at younger ages. Since they each developed emotions of their own and are actually capable of producing remnant in my rewrite/a soul from the little spark provided by Henry's sacrifice (specifically because though they walked and talked like her, they weren't her), so in his grief, he killed himself in a secret underground room containing all the Charlie bots she'd ever need to grow old into her 90s if she wanted - most in a state that would be considered missing the last pieces. (He sold every last inch he had in the fazbear brand including the IP for Money) The remnant of his feelings, but also the happy memories that he was focusing on (the idea that Charlie's waiting for him on the other side), produced remnant/soul possession, albeit a very tiny quantity of it, as his death was quick and painless, and he had given himself up to it (fixing the bloody magic tears problem). My use of the puppet ironically reverses the positions in your ending with a dead, basically Charlie bot, and a free and roaming puppet who's trying to get to the Charlie who wasn't taken by Afton (note that Afton had access to the 4th closet but never found the code to the elevator I've transformed it into and so took the 4th Charlie bot, experimenting on it, giving it specific features like making ice cream and inflating balloons right at her fingertips, a fatter/larger and taller build, and basically transformed her into Baby. On the first day of her performing, she killed Elizabeth Afton's own child and was effectively discarded, locked away in a bunker until needed). Specifically, the ending of the 2nd book confronts the topic of Charlie being a robot, and her reaction was just to surrender and die. After all, she's not real anyway. But the puppet sees she's truly developed her own emotions and can even generate remnant, so offers her the gift and has to convince her to take it.

Note that after the disaster killing Elizabeth and after that event unlike in the games completely abandoning the bot underground, He ripped most of the upgrades he'd made to baby and replace the more plastic clown makeup plates with the artificial skin that Henry made trying to revert it to henrys base design and ultimately when it was turned back on something new was born something that wasn't Charlie, wasn't baby, wasn't Elizabeth and most of all wasn't under Aftons modified programmings control Afton had visited her lots to help to try and help her remember Elizabeth's memories which she did she also remembered Elizabeth's love for her farther along with Henrys hatred of Afton for killing not just his own daughter also killing more kids(A note Left inside the programming of the bot Afton in his pride never thought to erase originally intended for Charlie should she ever realise her nature as a robot to find (this also includes an apology for the anger he felt that led to him severely damaging the robot originally (which she also remembers) and when the auto retrieval program grabs Charlie before Afton could directly and gets her to safety she is ordered to get into the friend group to try to locate the third Charlie bot because wherever she was taken the code to what Afton calls the Fazbear Legacy also likely exists nearby (the automated program was supposed to trap her in the 5th closet in the hidden door where the puppet Was trapped with the 2 previous Charlie bots whom had both broken at the revelation of their lack of being real and refused the gift completely fading (their remnant and memories merging with the original Charlie)

I accept this rewrite as canon, you can't change my mind. Having read The Silver Eyes, enjoying it and then being thoroughly dissatisfied with the following two books, I have to say that this version is WAY better. Better payoffs, characterizations and overall, a more emotional, impactful story that makes for an intriguing, exciting read. If you're planning on doing The Fourth Closet (or have already done it), I'll be waiting.

Oh, thank you so much! 8D That's fantastic to hear! I'm working on the Fourth Closet one, and I'm hoping to have it finished sometime soon. It's just taking a little while- but I'm hoping to make something special. ^_^

As Sammy is such a non-entity in the story after Twisted One's big shock, its absolutely reasonable to make him the robot kid. To then turn it around to imply that the Puppet was William's invention stolen by Henry is, interesting. One takes the other's kid and makes a monster, one takes the other's monster but for what purpose. Guess I'm now curious what this means for your version of the Fourth Closet.

Had a dream about a video idea for you What if you briefly went over the themes and messages in each of the FNaF stories? It'd be an interesting look into the books that no one else seems to really pay much attention to.

This is like..very good, listen..I always HATED the twisted ones and the fourth closet [besides the designs of the twisted ones..they were..sorta cool] and the whole trying to tie itself back to the lore of the games..now that’s alright..if it was just the illusion disk or William..even if the illusion disk doesn’t make sense and remnant got..ruined..it could’ve worked..but of course scholastic and crew had to confuse things even more..but your rewrite just took out the bad parts or improved them..like god you made William a threat and I absolutely love that, all of this rewrite is fire, 10/10 for sure, can’t wait for FNAF The Fourth Closet: Rewritten .. .. Meanwhile golden Freddy: “is it me or did I just miss something-“

Jesus christ, that twist with the puppet gave me chills. The way it just stood up and towered over John and Carlton directly reflects the terror I felt playing FNAF 2 Help Wanted edition and seeing the puppet get out of it's box.

I loved the rewrite, of course even if I didn't read the originals at all I still like the use of a lot of concepts that are familiar to FNaF but still easy to understand I'm also amazed by yur narration. See, i don't like listening to audiobooks because i can't picture things as good as when I'm reading by myself but I was very capable of picturing most things, maybe because of the visual aid from the video itself but I was looking away for mos of it, still, I'm pretty amazed!

Oh, this is a very fun rewrite! I liked how you described relationships of Charlie and her friendgroup - and Clay! The way twins reunited in fire was perfect! I do love the idea of android Charlie, her being alive and Puppet being Sammy is also very fun to think about. IF she's human, that is. Lizzie/Baby is a wonderful cliffhanger and a tease! ALSO. Did Henry left Puppet Sammy there? How... convenient for him to not be there to give anyone an explanation. Poor aunt Jenn!
