FNaF Theory: The Underrated FNaF Character Who Is Responsible For MOST Of The Story

I knew it was going to be Shadow Freddy! He's one of my favorite and deserved to have more lore-relevance in the series, he's underrated. And besides and/or of course he is symbolically William's Evil as he created. He's the reason for everything that is causing in the Timeline. Without him this all shouldn't had happened. Shadow Freddy/Nightmare is the *True* Villain/Antagonist of the FNaF series.

OK time for my thoughts, so when I’ve read the Fazbear frights epilogues and the stories. I believe that Eleanor actually parallels with the shadows because in Part 10 of the StitchWraith stingers Larson describes Eleanor as “a black chaotic force that bad of human suffering,“ so it is very possible that shadows are doing the exact same thing the shadows are associated with dark remnant like they are made out of the pain and suffering of the Fazbear locations. Also someone pointed out that the Afton ending in security breach matches up with the ending in Epilogue seven. With Afton going from an entity to a new physical body, an amalgamation made from the animatronics spamming the entire series. And William Afton getting nurse back to health by a follower. In the box Afton got nursed back to health by the help of Eleanor and in the games when William Afton got nursed back to health into a new physical body by the help of Vanessa. It’s also worth mentioning that in the Afton and all William does is try to hack into Freddy and an epilogue seven all Afton did was infected Larson, also glam rock Chica,Monty and Roxanne wolf including blob try to attack you one by one. However Vanessa/Vanny was nowhere to be seen. This is just like the ending of Epilogue seven. That Eleanor pilot the afton amalgamation with afton himself before she completely abandon him and left him very weak. And an epilogue 10 it is told to us that Eleanor has been responsible throughout most of the stories. Because she is trying to gain agony and remnant so yeah Eleanor is a parallel to ( Elizabeth, Vanessa/Vanny, circus baby from the trilogy series, the shadows and glitchtrap himself) because her motivations of gaining power of agony and remnant is very similar to Afton‘s motivations. And the entire series started because of William Afton. And I do have to agree that Wiliam’s original motivation for killing the kids is to cope with the grief he had. Because in the original story when the first four games came out including the silver eyes it never said that he killed kids for immortality. It is stated that in the silver eyes he said he killed the kids because he wanted love and now he has it. Another idea that supports this theory is Sister Location the fun times are clearly a representations of the Aftons if you look closely of what the animatronics represent. In the story friendly face it did made a possibility that William got remarried and had another kid, I do believe that he had Michael with another woman. So I believe that it’s a possibility that Michael’s mom passing away. Is what caused him to go down the path of madness and started drinking in midnight motorist. And the one he had in a custody battle could be the biological mother of Elizabeth. I believe that in the original story William had Michael and Cassidy with another woman and then when Sister Location came out. It’s very possible that he got remarried and had Elizabeth. So yeah in conclusion I believe that after his first wife died William went down the path of madness and started drinking out of depression, once he does he turns very neglectful and abusive I mean think about it a person drinking alcohol out of depression can turn a person very abusive and aggressive. Oh yeah in the original story Williams motivations for killing kids had something to do with family.

That sounds very suspicious to Eleanor because People have learned in part 10 of the StitchWraith singer that she was behind most of the events of the story. Feeding off human suffering pain and agony clearly parallels her with the shadows.

I do believe that Shadow Freddy is William's wickedness. However, The Ultimate Guide says that the Shadow animatronics help the children, then he wouldn't be William's wickedness. What do you think?

thats the reason the ultimate guide isnt completely valid. It gets things wrong. it calls an opera heracles hospital, it claims a confirmed evil character helps kids. he does not.

The only shadow that seems to help the dead kids is shadow bonnie in fnaf 3, because he gave a cake to the kid. As for shadow Freddy, I don’t think he has done anything that could be considered kind/helpful.

@@shadowcrab Shadow Bonnie is definitely a good character based on his role in helping the souls move on. Shadow Freddy is almost certainly an evil character due to his parallels with Nightmare and seeming alignment with William.

Okay he may be underrated but he is not the reason the entire lorza say that's because of golden Freddy his past self aka the fixed fixed version of fredbear is actually who caused The Bite of 87 not bite of 83 because why would the Easter egg for the 7th night say 1987 and golden Freddy is actually fredbear just a little bit torn down because spring trap is actually the spring Bonnie and I'm starting to think that Cc or Chris Afton or Evan Afton is actually shadow Freddy and William is in the spring Bonnie suit and is now spring-trap

My biggest Fnaf theorist pet peeve is that nobody gets Nightmare's line right 1:35 Nightmare says "I am your wickedness, made flesh." not "...,made of flesh."

@ImpulseEvan37 it's not that big a deal but he does say "made flesh". The is no of anywhere in the line. The phrase "made flesh" refers to something intangible (like his wickedness) being given physical form. It's biblical terminology. "Made of flesh" just doesn't really make sense with the rest of the sentence. "Made flesh" actually conveys the idea. Again it's not that big a deal and doesn't effect the theory it's just something that irks me when I see it.

loved this vid! i love shadow freddy, but i have some questions how is shadow freddy created as william's evil? and, why is william's evil symbolized as a freddy? obviously this could be a silly question though william has obviously more connections to springbonnie, i mean we even see him wearing it with henry and if he is william's evil then why would he be subjected to bv's curse?

The how is explained with Fazbear frights where is shown time and time again to at powerful emotions can create whole beings. And during midnight motorist, the missing kids haven’t been killed yet, so William isn’t really associated only with SpringBonnie. Plus William also uses both suits to kill kids, so really it could appear as either As for the curse, I feel like it’s more so that the existence of a curse lures shadow Freddy in

@@Jeredyrt I can think of him as an anti villain or anti hero(btw in my au he's sarah from to be beautiful cause Fazbear entertainment found her lifeless body parts in late 1984, then after that they put her in parts in service in the abandoned fredbears. And then they use the parts to make un withered golden freddy, but then her agony got connected with fredbear(where cc poses in my au) and WGF, and then transform into the remnant called Shadow Freddy. Now she wants revenge on Afton for making Eleanor, and then Eleanor. She hates all the Aftons AND even Emily's for some reason but besides charile and mrs Emily. She only hates mike, Henry , and cc for helping with it and or being the son/friend of Afton so she pretend to help him and then to betray him and destroy him completely. She also kills people when you look at shadow Freddy's eyes, you're eyes comes out and blood comes and you die, she's likes it but also wants to free the souls so she's an anti hero, and she only help cc give the nightmares to mike. Just to also torture Michael and use it for her plan) That's it

Really interesting I must say. Though I am not sure that Nightmare is Shadow Freddy cause the files name could be just a stand in while the programing, it possible but it is not confirmed. A lot of things here do make sense. I have a theory about shadow Freddy that I will record sometime next months about what if Shadow Freddy is a soul of someone who we didn't here about for a long time, it doesn't work with your opinion here though.

Elizabeth died after CC though. We can tell because Elizabeth had to have died after FFP closed, so after one of the MCI. CC likely dies before the MCI.
