I’m positive the whole reason is that the model is already loaded so when you play the game, it doesn’t need to take extra time to load its assets and possibly glitch the real entity. Many games have done this before and it makes it easier for the program to duplicate the models assets and use it for the main character.

The animatronics are outside so they dont need to take time to load, and they can give you enough time to respond, most games do that, they'll hide the character off screen, and when it's needed, it'll trigger instantly instead of loading in
