@@WubEphex that is number 3, as there is no RNG except nightmarionne going on the bed/closet but if you are fast you can win every time you do it still hard as hell. fnaf2: the night is extremly hard,you already have to do a flawless execution, but without toy bonnie (aka the RNG nightmare )could be consistent. UCN 50/20: people seem to think it's eazy because the night is 4:30 and a lot of animatronics are distractions, when I hear this I know they never got past 25/20 or even played the game. yes there are a lot of animatronics that don't kill you but remember minireena 2 from fnaf:SL Custom Night, most of the deaths it that mode where caused by bonnet and yenndo, which both can be caused by a lack of visibility aka what minireena 2 does.(and she does not attack you at all) A even harder variant of minireena 2 is in UCN, it's called El Chip, he does not let you see anything for 10 s, but you can make it faster by going with the mouse and pressing skip(which is not good as nightmarionne still exists and will jumpscare the player after 0:8 s of kepping they're cursor over him) which is not reccomended, the other way is by litterally getting one of your hand of the controls and pressing enter(I hope you see the problem there). TL:DR UCN is a crude mashup between FNAF4 and 2

@@teiull9388 After beating it, I can say that it's all about RNG in the first 4 hours because you can only look at 2 doors. And when it reaches 4 am it's all about skill until Nightmare laughs (because he can still sometimes appear at the door). I think now this is the 2nd hardest night in the series. And 10/20 of FNaF2 is actually the hardest night of the series. Because it is 7 minutes of 60%+ pure luck gameplay, without stopping a second, with broken animatronics and being obliged to stop to any animatronic that exists, otherwise, you lose.

Same Patch with DJ Sterf 1. The old animatronics is not a problem to me just immediately put the mask down everytime i put my monitor down. 2. Foxy a little bit if you don't flash your light at him for a couple of seconds you are screwed. 3. The marionette you just wind the music box as much as possible. 4. The Annoying part it's just "toy bonnie" because when i turn on the light right vent and see him on the blindspot vent even though if you put up the mask immediately he's enter animation will delay for about 3 to 4 seconds and that was pissing me off.

Do you always let an animatronic pull down the camera instead of pulling it down yourself, or just sometimes? If so, in what situations do you let an animatronic pull it down? 2. 1. Let the animatronics pull it down unless you've winded the box about 7 clicks, then pull it down yourself. Otherwise, side vents can kill you if they're there. 2. BB = 4 noises, then mask every time. Toy Chica = leaves much more reliably than Toy Bonnie, and often goes away as you have your mask on with an attacking mid animatronic. These two are the least of the troubles...BB being easiest by far. 3. Cycle. 4.67 seconds each.

Thanks to your strategy, I'm finally able to tell when to put the mask on. I just listen for vent noises and orient my mask uses around those. I can even tell when the iterations (cycles) are going to start. I've made it to 4AM several times now. Now, if only there were some way to get rid of that jerk Toy Bonnie...

Dindelle Well, FNAF2 runs on different 'cycles' or iterations -- essentially, there's a predictable check every X number of seconds. In Golden Freddy mode, with everyone's AI at 20, the animatronics will either move, or they will defer to other animatronics in the danger zone. On my computer, it's about every 4.67 seconds...three iterations = 14 seconds or so. You can tell the length of the iteration by timing out when sounds are playing or cameras are changing. It's 4.67 since ClickTeam has an option for 'adjust based on machine settings' -- it's supposed to be 5.0 seconds, but my computer runs it faster. Also, holding down the flashlight on Foxy is actually better...I found that out later.

The farthest I ever got was 4 am, which kinda sucks XD Whenever I play, the three most annoying ones are the puppet, toy Bonnie, and foxy (but honestly, the puppet is the result of toy Bonnie being a douche). After watching your video, I'm guessing toy Bonnie is just luck, but how do you keep foxy in check? Like there's plenty of times where I put down my camera and immediately put on my mask, but there's another animatronic in my room. So I wait for them to leave, but then foxy kills me as soon as my mask is lifted. Do you have any tips for that? Sorry for the long comment! It's just that you're the only youtuber I've ever seen that beat this on the 1.032 patch XD

Dindelle Toy Bonnie has RNG attached to him...instead of attacking when you put the mask on, there's a random number thrown...if he's the only one near you, he's a 1-in-2 to do his animation every iteration. If there are other animatronics waiting to jump, he's a 1-in-3 to do his animation. It's REALLY annoying. If that random number weren't there, this wouldn't be nearly as much a luck-based mode. I haven't tried this strategy since the flashing worked in this run, but if I'm right, it would help a ton with Foxy: I think there's a check every half second on Foxy as to whether or not the flashlight is on -- if it's on and he's standing there, his attack value decreases by 1. If you can get away with holding the flashlight on him for 2 seconds, his attack should guaranteed be dumped down to 0. If he hits 5 or so, he'll attack. I would have to test this out at some point. Maybe just hold down Ctrl as you look at the vents/front instead of flickering? Might help a ton if it doesn't totally drain the battery.

The only bad thing that happened was I ran out of flashlight power faster (I've only ran out of power once). I usually try and oh old down the flashlight until I have like 2 bars left. Anyway, one more question (sorry): You say to "stay in line with iterations." So should I try and make a strategy cycle the changes in time with an interaction? Like should I go through a cycle every 14 seconds?

Dindelle Actions and updates seem to happen at the end of an iteration, so if you do an action and immediately hear a noise, it's usually not good (since something advanced without you being able to do anything about it). I try to act when I hear a noise (e.g. Vent Noises or Balloon Boy voices, etc.) and keep in line with that whenever possible. Also....if Toy Chica just shows up, and Balloon Boy isn't around, you can skip a vent check for a few turns on the left. Ug. It does take a ton of luck, even so, though.

Great strategy. It’s been helping me but I haven’t beaten it yet. I’ve made it to 5am four times and each time I’ve died with only 15 FREAKING SECONDS LEFT!!!! Usually because Toy Bonnie was being a total prick and wouldn’t leave preventing me from winding the music box, which resulted in me dying by the puppet a few seconds later. And then one time while the music box was nearly fully wound going into the last 15 seconds, Foxy jumped me with no warning! I know I’ll beat this god awful mode but it’s killing me how hard it is. 😩

***** (well, I'd say I serve a great God :) ) 1.032 is stupid. Not sure what changed between versions since I don't have all the specific versions decompiled (a diff between versions would be interesting, though), but I may make some videos similar to a code review of the game dynamics at some point. Toy Bonnie has a random element added to his attack that makes it infuriating, and even more so if others are in the ready-to-attack zone. Turns this into a frustrating Vegas game, lol. I totally don't blame anybody for trying older versions that may be more manageable.

i also have another question. Foxy seems so unpredictable and i can't seem to test this for myself (I figured out how the others work thanks to your iteration tips). Let's say an animatronic (i.e. Bonnie, chica, freddy, or toy freddy) just left the office, and another one appears in the vents (i.e. toy chica, balloon boy, or mangle). So, i flash foxy a good amount, put on the mask, and wait 4.67 seconds for them to leave (if they're being a douche and using maximum wait time), but as soon as i take the mask off, foxy gets me. Does this only happen if a new iteration begins immediately after i take off the mask, resulting in foxy getting me when the iteration begins? ....Or can he get me even if it's the middle of an iteration (e.g. 2 of 4.67 seconds) when i take the mask off? Is it any different when an "office" animatronic (e.g. old chica, toy bonnie etc.) just left and i take off my mask? Just to note: I restart the game every time i die so that foxy doesn't ever get more aggressive.

i'm so sorry. i know this video / game is so old but I just got around to installing FNAF (and playing it) and I'm stuck on 83 fail counts on 10/20 mode. I just discovered your channel and strategy now and I am trying to follow it (i srsly dont want to give up) I've read through some of your replies to comments, but I'm not sure if I missed this, so I apologize. But when you say being in line with iterations, what does that specifically mean? I'm having trouble trying to "be in line" with it because my understanding is, when an iteration starts, my camera basically has to be down and I begin the round of putting on the mask - check vent - flash hallway - check vent - flash hallway? Also I have no idea if any changes occurred to the game over the years but I have such a difficult time with foxy. There was literally a time when foxy jumped me at 9 seconds RIGHT AFTER I flashed my light at him. RIGHT AFTER. I just don't get it anymore and I'm getting discouraged haha (I might just put this on hold and finish the rest of the games then come back to it) I'm a huge noob at this but I really want to finish 10/20 mode (this is stressful, but oddly fun! lol). "Keeping in line with an iteration" means to align your actions with the movement cycles of the animatronics in the game. An "iteration" or cycle is normally 5 seconds because that's when the animatronics are checked to move. However, some computers may run these cycles faster. DJ Sterf's computer is one of them. Anyway, when an animatronic is checked to move, the game checks a random value from 1 to 20 against their AI value. If the value is less than or equal to their AI level, they move. Doing the math, every five seconds, Level 1 animatronics have a 5% chance of moving (1/20 is 0.05), and Level 20 animatronics have a 100% chance of moving (20/20 is 1.0). At level 0, they never move...except Foxy, who will show up occasionally to ensure that you don't sit at the music box all night. Knowing this information, we can deduce that the Level 20 animatronics on Golden Freddy mode will move about every five seconds. Thus, if we can adjust our actions to the cycles of the animatronics, they will hardly be a threat. The strategy is this: check the vents and hallway, wind the music box, and drop the mask immediately. If you follow the cycles of the animatronics just right, then an old animatronic should be trying to attack you every time you drop the mask. This also takes care of Mangle, Toy Chica, and Balloon Boy most of the time, as they'll go away while an old animatronic is attacking. Foxy will also be less of an issue as long as you flash the hallway regularly. Now, the second-hardest part is figuring out when these cycles end. Sometimes, I can unconsciously tell when to drop the mask, but other times, I fail to follow the cycles. DJ Sterf says that listening to certain sounds in the game can tell you how long a cycle is, but I'm still trying to figure that part out. I'll have to get back to you on that. Notice how I said "second-hardest part" and how I didn't mention Toy Bonnie. He's absolutely horrible in this game. He can attack as soon as you put on the mask, or he can wait up to about 4 seconds before trying to attack you. This randomness, along with his already long exit animation, is really annoying as it wastes time that could be spent winding the music box. He's the single biggest reason as to why this mode is very hard to beat. If you get a handful of Toy Bonnie, just quickly flash the hallway and wind the music box. You won't have time to check the other vent. You could also use a glitch to get rid of Toy Bonnie, but it may or may not work. If you bring up the camera and then slam down the mask at the right time after hearing vent clank sounds, then an old animatronic should eat up Toy Bonnie's attack. Or, if you don't want to do that, you could hope that Toy Bonnie gets eaten by another animatronic during normal gameplay. Either way, you'll need luck to get past this shiny blue abomination. Well, good luck to you. I think you can beat this mode. ;)

DJ, do you know how long it takes before foxy can kill you? If so, when a withered animatronic stands there and his timer runs out (timer meaning how long it takes before he'll kill you) will he kill you right after the withered animatronic leaves or will his timer reset?

From what I can tell, Foxy's attack value is an ongoing value. When it hits 700, he attacks. Having the flashlight on decreases it a tiny bit. I forget the specifics on whether or not that goes up while you're being threatened (I think 'no' but not sure)

1.032 was a lot harder than early patches that allowed for mask being on + still being able to flash the flashlight. 1.033 added Halloween lights on Halloween, not sure if that's the latest or not.

Have to give Foxy consistent light. If you keep getting blocked by animatronics and can't shine at all, that's 'out of cycle' and won't end well.

Right after any blocking animatronic leaves, you need to shine the light. Part of it timing, part of it is just plain luck.

In my opinion, this is all luck! The strategy you made in my opinion won't make a difference in chances of victory! That's one of the reasons I sometimes dislike this game. And I know the pain cause I use a Macbook so I have to play 1.032!

You really do need good RNG to beat this night. You do, however, need skills that will take you to the finish if you get that good RNG.

Just FNaF 1. Old builds of FNaF 1 were more like 8:35. I could go back and check on newer builds, it should be an even 9 now with ClickTeam updated. Each game has different lengths, not sure why, lol.
