No Sneaky is just trash regardless of what he plays and has no business being on a top NA team. The only reason he's still on C9 is that he's an OG player/face of Cloud 9 and if Sneaky is cut off C9 they're going to lose a decent portion of fans. Also there's the fact that NA is trash and there aren't a lot of quality adc players to replace him with. Last year worlds he was legit carried by Licorice, Sven and Jensen. Even Zeyzal was quiet good last year - Sneaky was literally just a handicap to his team. You never heard the casters compliment him because he was awful and it was the same this year, only they don't have NA's best mid laner anymore and they put Blabber on instead of Sven, making their games a shitshow.

It's just the rest of the world not respecting LEC's week 2 adaptation. You rarely see EU teams losing the same way twice when they treat their matches seriously. That being said, G2 looked more like an embarassment out of all 3 LEC teams since they werent respecting GRF's adptation and got stomped twice in a row. Right before they played GRF, the entire team other than caps was still trolling hard and not trying to get into serious mode. A perfect group and first seed was right in their sight and they threw both of them in the hardest way possible. SPY and FNC all showed signs growth even though they are both 2nd seed out of the group, G2 however taking 2nd seed is the exact opposite of that. I think of all three teams, G2 should be the one EU fans should worry most about.

FNC actually played so well (almost) the whole day. SKT got outdrafted by the Veigar, hard. SKT had an insane back-line engage comp which was disintegrated by Veigar's cage. FNC did play well that game, but some of SKT's moves in that game were... quite uncharacteristically bad. It always gets ugly when a team tries to pull an overhead strategy like this, hence why it's generally against the rules and not considered fair play. But let's say even if SKT did plan this out... to gamble an LEC win against one of the best teams from LPL? That's some real faith right there, and SKT are not known for whimsical faith. Bravo FNC for pulling out a beautiful game versus RNG, the LEC have made a statement in home territory.

I'm an NA fan because, well, I live in NA. But I personally think that TL is the only NA team worth their salt. For all the drama and inflated egos in the NA teams, at least TL can pull out a good fight. The LEC is pretty legitimate, it's well-known that EUW is one of the toughest regions for solo queue. In any case, for the top LCK team to plan around an LEC win versus CHINA of all regions is almost unthinkable, but it's the reality of what happened today. It's a huge testament to how far the LEC have come, bravo and congrats on full representation in quarters :O

i Dont have a prob with that, it makes it more interisting, if you allways take the strongest teams there will be close to no surprises, and sometimes the teams that seem the weak can make the bigger impact, who would call the g2 win vs rng last year? Or even c9 vs a korean team, who would even imagine a final witohut a korean team and instead with an EU team? It sucks for rng, but it is waht it is, and lacking a better way to do things, it is ok to be this way.

SKT didn't "intentionally" throw anything, they just weren't used to playing against a top tier Veigar, nor did they know how to deal with the deadly Veigar + Gragas combo (where Veigar can set up easy full damage combos by himself + Gragas and Gragas' ult can also knock you into the wall of the cage, stunning you).

its probably the first game i know that does not involve group fight. This lulu pick is questionably since ezreal went for quicksilver anyway. pyke and gragas are definitely top level this game. LangX wins the lane but is not able to do anything when it gets group fight (or did it ever get there). The bot lane pushed too hard and lee really didn't play well in the fight. Ryze really couldnt do much when gragas fed like that.

Hyli is not a traditional Pyke player, you often see him ulting just to close distance, not to execute. This way he catches carries off guard who thinks they are safe. Man, he does turbo int at times but when he is on, he is on.
