"Its not a dirty bomb, its a nuclear bomb....so blow it in place?" The perfect bravo. Every conversation between cllips had me laughing way too hard.

Another point of accuracy is Jace doesnt ask for the 249, and Sonny just knows its needed for the ambush and just hands it over before being asked. It shows the team cohesion when you just know the 5 W's of your teammates.

And make it long, like at least an hour of you four just breaking down an episode, the behind the scenes, you know, just 4 awesome dudes kickin'it!!! There's nothing that will please the "FNG ACADEMY" fans more!!! Except maybe getting the whole cast together. DO IT!!!

Being a knuckle dragger is totally a title of pride! And I think before you reach a leadership role, everyone at some point of time goes through being a knuckle dragger. I mean, if you're not thinking and just blindly following your team leader and your second in command, being a knuckle dragger is what's expected of you!

I’m a civilian from Wales, UK, and I’ve watched all the episodes at the minimum of 15 times each, I just love it SO much. I really enjoy your perspective on accuracy and scenarios, but I’m wondering if I’ve missed some videos here because this was the last SEAL Team episode you’ve done 3 months ago? There’s 114 episodes and you’re up to S1E11? There’s SOOOOO much good stuff in the upcoming episodes. Swearing starts to happen after season 5 when they move to Paramount which I think ads another level of realism and then they address veteran suicide, PTS, TBI, inside/outside the wire tensions and problems, on and on. My favourite exfil was when the team gets airlifted off a ridge line by a helicopter and clipping onto a rope. I was so worried they’d get shot with their asses hanging out in the wind like that but it was so awesome. I can’t watch the parts with Ray as a POW, I fast forward through those parts after watching it the first time. It’s too real. Can’t wait for more ST reviews. Get after it 😊

Fun fact: "Mad Minute" was a pre-WWI term for an exercise used by the British for basically speed-firing a bolt action rifle. They had a way of firing and working the bolt on their Enfields in a massed fire formation to put as many bullets into the field as quickly as possible. During one engagement when the first British Army units were deployed in WWI, they put so many bullets against a German charge that the German officers thought that the British had deployed more machine guns than they had anticipated. Sadly, the majority of the German force was made up of student age troops and thus the battle was called "The Massacre of the Innocents."

Medical stuff, even just infantry basic/osut, it happened with me. I had pneumonia and went through mortar week and eventually was forced to go to sickcall. I was so scared of getting held back with another class to graduate with and tried to hide it, but rucking from one range to another was the final straw since it was so obvious something was wrong with me. The doctor said I definitely had pneumonia, but it seemed like it was near the end and I just needed a couple days of rest in sickbay, so he only had me spend two nights in that place which was full of people who were just trying to avoid being in basic. Made it back to my company on Sunday and was in the B running group for a few weeks.

I've seen this episode 3 or 4 times now, and it's always been one of the most confusing episodes in the whole series. Especially in their reaction to the realization of the bomb being a nuclear warhead. Personally, that would be FAR more comforting than the idea of carrying a dirty bomb with that insane quantity of radioactive material. If you mess up, and accidentally detonate a dirty bomb that close to you, then there's a chance that the explosion won't instantly kill you. Dirty bombs aren't meant to be large, they're just the vehicle to deliver the radiation. Dying of radiation poisoning is reported to be one of the most painful and gruesome ways to go imaginable. Your body literally broils itself from the inside out. You liquify. Your skin melts off. Your eyes melt. Every mucus membrane starts to pour into your lungs. It's horrific, and can last days or weeks. One man back in the 40s or 50s took around 2 and a half months. Every second of it in the most intense agony that you can't even comprehend. If a nuclear warhead detonates that close to you, EVERYBODY is instantly vaporized before you can even process what's happening. Idk about y'all, but I'm picking the painless vaporization every single time.

Love you guys so much. Sometimes I wish there was more scenes reacted to. With all of your guys first hand knowledge and real life combat experiences, I wish it was used to talk about more of the movie scenes instead of story time leading far from the scene breakdown. I had a Colonel back in 88 (10th Mountain) had fleshy chunks of him missing from his legs... very noticeable during runs... one day, I met him sitting and he was rubbing his hip at an old wound, it looked a bit raw. He had this odd expression on his face...I didn't want to mention anything, but, he just turned to me and said, " Well, my plan didn't work out so much." He got up and walked away. LOL, such an odd thing to say. Anyways...Yea...lesson is, don't get shot, blown up or anything involving metal in your body. Of course, 36 years, a lot has changed...the technology, techniques and medicine... it is mind blowing. Back in the day, the expression when you had a massive injury, "drink water, you'll be ok." Didn't matter... leaking brain matter, ruptured intestines, whatever... Imagine those veterans of WWII that were in Korea... and those from Korea to Vietnam. Vietnam to Desert Storm. Desert Storm to now. My DIs were Vietnam vets, always screaming... 'You will die, because you are weak and you love life." or some other shit. We took it to heart. Anyways, one of the ironies of having a "peaceful" large unit army, in the larger sense, is those folks at the tip of the spear have a much greater burden carried. Our "non-wars" probably have 5K front line fighters on the line at any one point. The burn out rate must be high, or at least, it should be. Something to be looked at from the ground up and from the top down. You literally can not expect these folks to be 100% all the time, everywhere and anywhere. Just saying. At some point, while the drive/impetuous is still there, the body and all its components might not be there. And that is mission adverse, know what I mean. EDIT Note: The mad minute goes back to Vietnam, just firing as many bullets down range, hopefully at the enemy. All the best. Cheers.
@Stormkryptonian4 ай бұрын
You're right about the body/components not being able to keep up. Just like high performance vehicles, the people need constant maintenance and down times too in order to operate a max capacity and when ran hard need have proper maintenance afterwards to avoid degraded performance. In that line of work also just like machines, the training evolutions also put wear and tear on the service member that also needs to be addressed. All that adds up to the hard limit in service life in which you gotta hang it up. Could you still keep going after reaching that limit? Sure, but will it be at max performance? Absolutely not and will increase chances of catastrophic failure either deployed or even at home. High performance/ high use equipment all have a set service life. May they serve their time with pride, teach the next generation, and get out before exceeding that time.
