If I were to put down that big piece of foam like you did at the start, how would I make it fit glasses? Because what you did looks really, really good.
@SplinterFox9 жыл бұрын
Allosaurus Rock Well, after you have fully built your outside (muzzle and all), and after you cut your holes for eyes, you would go back inside the mask, and trim an area for the glasses. You would have to cut away som foam and balaclava to make the glasses fit nicely.

Excuse me, if you dont mind asking, how do you make the heads different sizes and/or one size fits all? Ive never done this method before. Also, how do you keep the heads from leaning foreward due to weight?
@oliviawashere7 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t lean from weight because it is foam. Also, most fursuits fit all, unless you have a head of excessive size.

So sticking foam over the elastic doesn't stop the movement of the jaw? Or do you avoid sticking foam over it? Thanks :)
@SplinterFox10 жыл бұрын
Sticking foam on the elastic is not a problem as long as you leave spots of elastic uncovered. For example. On the top of the head and the back of the head should be uncovered. At least. That's my way of doing it. :)

so my friend and I are aspiring fursuite makers. we've each made one for ourselves and for a first suite there ok but they still look super crappy. any tips for a beginner?
@julianemery7189 жыл бұрын
+soniethedog Practice. Practice. Practice. Unfortunately, there are no short cuts if you want to get good at anything. The more you put into it, the better it will be. But don't be disappointed with what you get either. It's all a ever changing lesson, you WILL get things wrong You WILL have accidents. But that is not a bad thing, it's just a way to help you know what to do differently next time. If you did everything right, then you would not learn anything, getting things wrong is better for you than getting things right.
