Amazing video Cali! I appreciate your extra effort where you sync'd the action from both cameras! I have 2 monitor's and play one camera on each. There are times when I wished that my head swiveled like J & S. This pair has so much personality it almost seemed like Shadow was asking Jackie if she was okay and she filled him in on the details. That was some great camera work, showing what couldn't be seen from the nest. I believe Shadow was understandably frustrated because he couldn't see and couldn't leave his post on the nest to go help his beloved Lady. The clarity of the second camera after the red flash at 3:25 is amazing! I could actually see all 3 eagles, whereas I usually can't quite make out where the nest actually is. In Florida the eagles and osprey have adapted as they Have no problem with humans.Ive walked within 20ft of a red tailed hawk walking my dog and the sandhill Crane's walk Right threw our yard.

Jackie looks like she had a big meal maybe the juvenile was trying to steal the food and that is how it wound up in their territory.

That's what I think. Eagles perch and observe, and young eagles are looking to steal a meal until their hunting skills are honed. That level of boldness makes me think it was driven by hunger, as it is likely too young to look for a territory and nest. Regardless, fierce Jackie took care of business in flushing it out of the basement and following it to escort it out of the territory, while Shadow stayed on the eggs just as he should do. Great teamwork!
