Cali, I just want to say the you do an amazing job keeping up with everything and keeping us up-to-date. I wouldn't expect you to be able to handle the volume of questions and comments. Thank you for doing what you can do. I also want to express my great appreciation for FOBBV and all of the other volunteer mods on the live cam/chat. I don't watch the livestream very much because it is hard for me to keep up but I do think you all do a wonderful job. We have been given a great privilege to watch these beautiful raptors in their natural habitat and we just have to accept there will be disappointments that come along with the joys in their lives.

I just love how Jackie and Shadow talk to each other cause I feel they are the most soft speaking Eagle pair I’ve ever been able to watch live.🥰❤️🦅🦅. I feel by the way they are with each other and also their talking to each other too, they really do have such a bond that will never be broken. They are an awesome team too in no matter what they are doing together. I do pray for a hatch or two at least but, only God and Jackie and Shadow only kmow what is to be. Thnk you Cali and God bless. Please look at 3:40- 3:43 when Shadow gets up and moves the eggs! Look at the bottom left egg, at its bottom half! I swear there’s a pip. Idk, maybe I’m seeing things but if you see it too, let me know.

I read somewhere that a pip looks like a little volcano. I think if there is one, FOBBV would confirm for us.

Sorry, no pip yet. The eggs have severak dark markings that have been there for days. They do not change (an actual pip will definitely change and grow over time).

If I read what Cali wrote right, because of delayed incubation, I’m thinking that we still have 3 or 4 days before we could see some pips so that all the babies hatch right around the same time. Please correct me if I’m wrong, Cali.

Egg 1: Laid 1/25/24 Hatch window 2/29 - 3/10 Egg 2: laid 1/28/24 Hatch window 3/6 - 3/16 Egg 3: laid 31/24 Hatch window 3/9 - 3/19 So there is STILL a ways to go before we start to worry. The window for egg #1 hasn't closed yet! This is the 7th. Three more days, and Jackies eggs are KNOWN for long incubation periods. Hang in there.
