Mein Großvater war ab 1934 als LOI bei Focke Wulf in Bremen. Schön Flugzeuge an deren Entwicklung er maßgeblich beteiligt war heute noch fliegen zu sehen!

Fun fact about this fw190-A8, it is not a period aircraft but a modern reproduction based on wartime blueprints, assembled by FlugWerk. I was there in 2010, best years to see those german war birds. They don't fly in that meeting anymore due to past accidents, costs and distances to cross the British channel. This plane actually landed in the channel a few years back.

+ pig droppings In June 2010, F-AZZJ had a propeller malfunction and went down in saltwater on the coast of France. The wreck was salvaged and sold to Hangar10 in Germany and has been repaired with new colors.

In D passieren ja auch keine Flugtage groß. Es gibt hier u. da eine Ausnahme, aber das verdient die Bezeichnung Flugtag nicht. Wäre ja auch schlecht für´s Klima und überhaupt: Böse Verbrenner-Motoren.....
