Actually it's very rare for someone to have a calling that would prevent them from marrying . Most single people don't have any great calling that would not allow them to marry. The problem is it's a fallen world and Christian men don't follow their God given role of pursing wives

I really think the single woman there should be speaking into this more since she is the one who is experiencing life as an older single woman. I really enjoyed when Lisa spoke from a first hand perspective. When married people of many years speak about singleness it's just not the same.

I was just recently told about these videos. I enjoyed both perspectives, but I really appreciated Lisa. As a 46 year old, never married women you said so many things I have thought, I loved hearing your Christian way of living life as a single women. I know people try to be comforting and helpful, but only other single women truly understand. Thank you for doing these videos!

thank you. This is refreshing and encouraging. Was listening to a tv talk show with the topic being about the upcoming Bachelor contestant being a virgin. The guest host basically labeled him as disturbed. What a shame that culture has turned so much away from God to say that not having sex is equal to having a mental disorder. Thank you for the encouragement that this is one way to glorify God. We don't listen to what culture says but what God says.

Thank you for re-posting this...i am 27 and single not dating because i want to cultivate and grow my relationship with Christ and get to know and understand my purpose...but i have been struggling with mental singleness that is just allowing my desire for more to take precedent over my relationship with Christ

Definitely churches, a lot for program in tv, forget the widows, single mothers, single people and solely focus on family & marriages. I’d be interested to hear a convo on singleness that revolves around singleness, not singleness versus marriage. The central tension around being single in the church is the fact of always being compared to marrieds. Also, let the person leading the singles ministry lead the conversation. She’s much more in tune.

Yeah, but they invited Dr. Evans because of his vast knowledge of Kingdom. So to have him there only to spectate or be a part of the Amen corner wouldn't make much sense at all. Also, as a single woman, all I hear is other single women's points of view. A man, a wise Kingdom man's perspective, is rare and also of value.

Very good message. Though i have a hard time believing when we are young hormones raging the flesh not so easily mastered. Therefore better to marry then to burn with passion. However never ever marry a non believer. Marriage covenant hard enough,you will only have it much more hard. I would not want to be a teenager again😳 Younger people out there pray fast , before entering into the holy covenant of marriage . Which is one man one woman. Regardless of what this vile and perverse generation says.
