"Instead of rushing them back to school after an appointment, take them for a little while." This is just in time, thank you!

"They are seeing this curated perfection on social media and their life doesn't measure up." That's it exactly. Well said. Why I left Facebook many years ago. Felt depressed looking at their so called 'perfect lives '. Love from Britain 😊♥️🇬🇧🙏

Amen...here in the U.S.A- if your not on FB many look down on you - but seeing the anxiety, pressure and competition in multiple ongoing/non-stop posts....made me think and pray hard is this the 'pseudo-asthetic' life I want to participate and be apart of? ....No... I have also seen and witnessed how people use FB to research, snoop, use to humiliate/make fun of, and discriminate against someone without ever meeting them!!! Where is the grace or the love in that!

I agree with this and I see my daughter falling into this trap. I am praying the Lord help me discipline myself and my children with the use of social media. It's so bad for us. I think that's why my daufhter wants to quit her sport bc she watches others who are way more skilled bc of many more years of experience and she compares herself. Now all of a sudden she don't want to do the sport after she showed so much passion for it

Loved that she said “parent from strength not defeat and spirit of Hope and giving them Hope” that was such encouragement for me! I have 4 daughters as well and needed to be reminded of all these things! Thank you for ministry! 📖💜

I'm going through the same situation with my daughter. She does mma weekly and for a while she has a strong passion and she would want to practice at home or watch videos of famous mma fighters. She recently out of nowhere wants to quit. I have sat down and asked her why but she gives me very short reasons. I don't want to force her to continue something that just don't suit her no more but I also don't want her to five up on something she once had so much passion for. What do I do? You really didn't say what you did or your daughter did when your daughter wanted to quit dancing.

How could i open me and my daughters relationship ?? I just feel theres a wall up where she dont express her emotions with me or theres a wall up where i dont know how to express mine. I grew up without both parents and in between family taking care of me so I kept a lot of feelings inside and kept my emotions to myself and I brought this into my adulthood. So I think it's me who has to learn how to open up and let her in. Admit my mistakes and tell her how I feel. Any advice?
